Right now, I have been watching some tv and a lot of other things. About every 20 minutes, I see the Beatles rock band.
Even if I do find it entertaining because I like to scream "PAUL IS DEAD", but I feel as though now that the Beatles are nothing but a commercialized product. I see them now everywhere on people who didn't even listen to them. They are being used in a lot of commercials. It's just that I no longer find a special spark in them now. Now everybody mostly cares about this rock band. I've seen the movie "Across The Universe; and it's an okay movie. I didn't cry during the "Let It Be" mostly because I didn't like that version, plus I really didn't care or it. But anyways, I really am not sure if all this Beatles talk is going to make me sick of the Beatles or make me not wanna listen to them anymore.
All these people who have stated they hate them, now say they love them. I don't think that everyone did a complete 180 and now spontaneously like them.
The band I mostly respect for this is Led Zeppelin. They really never let anyone use their music for their products, advertisements and others. They don't want their music to be for marketing. The don't want people to buy into products because their music is on it. How they don't want their music to be labeled for products. You must appeal really damn good if you actually get their music.
I really hate the scanner on the printer because it's being a b***h. It won;t scan. Total whore.

I really have been contemplating this Stones vs. Beatles things. I mean I really hate this whole argument, but it's getting harder for me to not compare them. I think that argument is based on your opinion and it's all about taste. I really try to give each side a fair share, that each side did great things for music, if not the greatest. The Stones pioneered the look and behavior of the modern rock star, and the Beatles pioneered the look of music or so. I really hate these arguments, but I sometimes find myself falling in with the Stones and against the Beatles. It's had for me not to defend my favorite band when someone is putting them down. I just keep thinking that it's their opinion and everyone doesn't have the same taste's as me, but I find myself getting quite mad at the stereotypes that are put on the Stones.
A lot of people that don't like them or are on the Beatles side say they were coked out, alcoholic junkies who had lots of sex and never wrote anything other than that. I think a lot of people look at the bad and negative side of them. The think a lot of their songs are just that. But I think that a lot of their songs are not sex or drug inspired. A lot of their songs are inspired by other things. I believe the song "Paint It, Black" is not about sex or drugs. Neither is the song "Sympathy For The Devil" or "Street Fighting Man". I just don't like that. Their in the studio, doped out and recording random things until one actually produces something out of their stupor. Totally not true.
It's just a pet peeve of mine.
Some good news is that I just got a friend of mine really wanting to see the movie "Performance" and I feel accomplished. I got someone to see the wonderful way of eye candy Mick Jagger and his total hotness.
But I think i might be getting into writing a out more because I have written a few of them. But I'm not sure if I really want to pt them up. But they are long. Over 15 pages. On college ruled paper. Front and back. Usually they contain angst, cause I'm a whore for that. I do like to have Mick bottom a lot. Like, I just do. I can't really give an explanation why, but I do.
I's currently digging "Dreams" by Fleetwood Mac. Damn spell checker being all stupid. Fleetwood Mac is not spelled wrong.
Stevie Nicks is still hot.
