[In case you didn't notice, I love writing. I have had at least a dozen different notebooks filled with started, unfinished, or failed-ending stories. I even get to write some stories in my english class...]
~Nathan blinked slowly, studying Wolven carefully. She though for certian that she was going to get yelled at. They always butted heads about his drinking problem, his moodiness, everything. Nobody ever won, so the fights raged on.
~"Why," Nathan asked in a simple tone, "Would you want to hear a story from me?" Wolven took a deep breath. Just saying that Luka told her to wasn't good enough.
~"I... Uh..." she stammered, "I've always acted like a jerk to you... And I heard you had a knack for storytelling... I wanted to give you a chance to shine..." Nathan slowly lowered the amber bottle from his lips.
~"You're admitting something," Nathan pointed out, "I suppose that's a start, but you can't be making up reasons all the time..." Wolven held her breath as he stepped away from the brick wall. She was preparing herself for the worst, but definently got a suprise. Nathan stepped up to a long-past-cut-down tree stump and sat down, motioning to Wolven to sit on one of the tree trunk pieces sitting up like chairs nearby. Wolven sat down timidly on the edge of the makeshift seat, still wary.
~"Well then," Nathan mused, resting his forearms on his knees, leaning foreward to be eyelevel with Wolven, "What kind of story would you like to hear?"
[Constructive critisism is good, but don't be mean about it... I'm doing this in the first five minutes in class, and half the time I'm doing homework due that day at the same time... But suggestions and stuff are appreciated.]
