[Well... More story... I can't really comment on this part, other then the fact that what Nathan says is kinda true, don't you think?]
~"There are alot of things in life that school never teaches you. They say that they're preparing you for the real world, but that's not entirely true..."
~"Is that why you dropped out?" Wolven asked, looking at Nathan through the tops of her eyelids. Nathan simply nodded, continuing.
~"Yeah, they don't teach you alot in school, and I'm sure everything I've learned only took up space in my brain. You see, there are alot of things they don't teach you. I'd be suprised if there was a school out there that taught you about real life lessons. Love, sorrow, death, cruelty. Those are the real things you learn." Wolven couldn't help but listen, his voice was almost hypnotic, definently different then it was before.
~"What does that have to do with fire?" Wolven asked timidly, but Nathan mearly shook his head calmly.
~"I'll get there, Wolf, don't worry. Well, unlike you, darling, I didn't grow up in an average kind of city, none of us are made for that. They tell us to blend in, but when I have wolf ears, black as night, pasted on my head, and a matching tail behind me, blending in isn't to easy." Wolven nodded, her own pale-brown set of wolf ears twitching, tail shaking slowly. She knew exactly what he ment.
~"I grew up in an underground city called Nuveria. Imagine, one place where we don't have to 'blend in' simply because we fit in..." He paused, "But it wasn't always so simple... It never was..."
[Constructive critisism is good, but don't be mean about it... I'm doing this in the first five minutes in class, and half the time I'm doing homework due that day at the same time... But suggestions and stuff are appreciated.]
