I need to start remembering the days of the week and all that. Everything just seems to blur together now that I am unemployed and not in school. Not that I am complaining. I never considered time distinctions all that important anyway. It's just that I manage to not do things for even longer than usual because I don't realize how many days it's been since I've done them.

My parents came to visit on Monday. My sister had an appointment for car maintenance, and it's lucky they were here, because it turns out my car battery was pretty dead. Oops. Considering I thought it was dead last Thanksgiving, I'm surprised it lasted this long. But the good thing is it now has a new battery, hurrah! Kowai Yasai lives again!

And yesterday I finally got a library card! Unfortunately it turns out I can't volunteer at any of the nearby libraries because they are all part of the same system and this system's union doesn't permit anything other than teen volunteers. Which is sad, because they, like every other freakin public library in the state, has had layoffs and cutbacks and they could probably use volunteers. But whatever.
