Once upon a time, in a magical alternate universe...

There lived a young Walrus named Basch Fon Rosenberg. He was a noble walrus, and desired to become a Knight when he was of age. Years passed, and his home of Nabudis was attacked and consequently destroyed by a far more powerful nation. Devastated but determined, he traveled to the royal Kingdom of Dalmasca, where in time he became a Captain in the Knights.

This was unique, because unlike the other Knights who were of noble descent, this Walrus was of common blood, and from a foreign land at that!

And so, he became beloved by the people of his new homeland, considered as one of their greatest heroes.

However, one fateful night this Walrus was framed for Regicide. He was charged and thrown into a dark, torturous prison, all of his glory and honor stripped from his being. The situation was so complicated that it seemed even if his wish of freedom was granted, the life he knew before would be lost forever...

Two years had passed before the fallen Walrus was freed by two outlaw Sky Walruses. He was scarred and shamed but incredibly thankful for his release. Although the lovely Walrus Princess did not believe his pleas at first, he dutifully kept his Knightly vows and journeyed with her, the Sky Walruses, and two street-walruses on a life-changing journey.

Although his story is certainly not yet over, (for he has yet to save the Hobbits in Isengard) Captain Basch has restored his dignity and in the eyes of those close to him, became a hero.

Thus is the tale of the Great Walrus, Captain Basch Fon Rosenburg.
