Thoughts, Sayings, Beliefs...everything....
The Beginning VII...
*ugh, i have too much time on my hands when she's not around...i don't like it*

The cool morning air whisked through the open windows of the car. Brunette hair playfully flied about. Nikole used a hand to try and push most of it back, but with no prevail. Getting frustrated, she rolled the windows back up and turned up the radio, trying to drown out the voices that were yelling in her head. ‘Do you realize what you’ve just done? You ******** her! You ******** ******** her!’ Shut Up. ‘You knew what you were doing, so why didn’t you stop? YOU left HER. You should know better.’ I Said, SHUT…UP! Nikole’s hand slammed down against the dashboard, causing the radio to flicker off for a moment. She sighed heavily. Her thoughts stopped abruptly. She shook her head and continued to drive to work, on her “supposedly” day off.

“Umpf.” Amanda mumbled into the pillow. Her hand reached out to grab something on the side of the bed, but when at first she didn’t feel anything, she reached further. A bit too far, and ended up falling off the side of the bed with a rather loud “thud”. Amanda peeked her head over the side of the bed. Her eyes raked across the room, taking in the surroundings.
“Uh…where am I?” She exclaimed into thin air. She sat up and walked around, trying to piece together onto where she is. Her eyes landed on a piece of white paper on the nightstand. She walked over and grabbed it, opening the closed folds. Emerald eyes quickly scanned the paper.
“Oh. Hm, I guess I’ll go make some food before she gets home then.” Looking through Nikole’s drawers, she grabs a short-sleeved shirt and sweatpants, which hung low on her hips. Walking out of the room, Amanda immediately headed straight to the fridge. Opening the door, she rummaged through, basically nothing. She slammed the fridge door shut.
“What the heck, what does she eat around here?” Becoming bored rather quickly, she started to snoop around. Shuffling into the living room, her eyes rested on a large bookshelf, which was full of cd’s, books, and photography profiles. Grabbing one of the photography books, she starts to flip through the pages, some of the pages, bringing back many memories.

Nikole walked through the semi-dark hallways of the crime lab. Heading straight for the coffee, she runs into a colleague.
“Hey! Uh, what are you doing here? I thought it was your day off?” The man was about 27, with striking hazel eyes and a perfect smile to match. He had jet black hair, slicked back to show off his eyes.
“It should be, but the Captain called me about an hour ago, asking me to come in. Is the lab understaffed?” Nikole sighed. She walked over to the coffee machine and filled up a cup, dumping several spoon full’s of sugar into the dark, hot liquid. The man shuffled around in his spot.
“Yeah, believe it or not, but we are, majorly. So many cases came in tonight that we had to ask both Swing and Day shift to come help, and we’re still understaffed.” At this moment, the Captain came in, and walked toward Nikole.
“Well, I can see that you made it, first off, Johnathan?” The Captain called out to the man.
“Yes sir?”
“Richard needs help with some of the evidence filing in the print lab; I suggest you go there now before he starts biting people’s heads off.” Johnathan gave off a salute and heads off, leaving the Captain and Nikole alone.
“Now, young lady, come with me.” He turned to leave, Nikole soon followed suit. They soon reached a dimly lit office, the Captain ushered Nikole inside. She sat down across from the desk and awaited her next assignment. Before he sat down, the Captain removed his jacket and put it on the back of the seat, across from the desk, he picks up a slip of paper and a manila folder, handing it to Nikole.
“Your assignment is to first, finish off paper work,” Nikole groaned, “Then, I want you to help out Kathryn and Sasha, they’re working a 419 right now, they already processed the scene, so, record all the evidence and go from there, understood?” His metallic eyes shined brightly.
“Got it. Anything else that needs to be done?” She got up to leave.
“Not at the moment, but, if anything comes up, I’ll notify you.”
“Alright, thanks Jim.” The man smiled as Nikole reached the door.
“No problem kiddo.”
