I finally made it downtown to meet my dad for lunch on his break from work. His coworker that we know from his stories at home as "Wedding Guy" joined us. We ate at a South American restaurant, and I had a tasty empanada.

I helped my mom decorate the dining room for Christmas because she was so stressed out.

And we took carryout to my grandparents because my grandfather is having surgery tomorrow on his gall bladder. I hope it goes well.
