I got up early this morning to cut up a potato and some carrot sticks and half an onion to throw in the crockpot with some beef to make a pseudo-pot roast. Then I went back to bed.

I did laundry and read some more of The Great Transformation. I finally got to the section about Confucius. He sounds like he was a pretty awesome guy.

The fire alarm (which is OBNOXIOUSLY loud and extremely annoying) randomly went off in our building today, so I went over to Panera to read and drink hot chocolate. Thankfully (I guess?) there was no fire.

I applied to be a third shift baker at Panera, and I filled out yet another application for Half Price Books. I need a job, but man am I going to miss my free time.
