"I've confirmed your license." said Mina. "Good job on the last mission Ami, now you're cleared to go to Neudaiz." Ami smiled a bit. "Thanks Mina." It's been a month since Ami became a trainee with her friend and partner Kyoh. The two were now going to Neudaiz. "Any clue on my next mission?" Mina shook her head. "Your instructor said to meet at the Neudaiz bound section the P.P.T Port and he will explain from there." Ami gave a nod. "Okay then. See you later." "May the Holy Light guide you."
Ami did what she was told and saw Kyoh sitting at one of the benches. "Instructor come yet?" He shook his head. "Should be here in a couple though." Ami sat next to Kyoh. "I have a weird feeling about this." He looked at her. "I know. Like something's gonna happen." The two waited for a few more minutes before their instructor appeared. "Sorry for being late. I was getting all the details from above. Anyway.." He leaned into them so that he could whisper. "We're protecting the Divine Maiden."
Ami leaned back. "Really!?" He laughed a bit. "Not the kind that you're thinking. You two are a bit too inexperienced for that. Besides she has the Communion of Gurhal guards to protect her personally. We've been asked to scan the parade route. There has been hints at an assassination attempt for today." Kyoh and Ami suddenly became serious. "There are going to be about a hundred or so others manning the route as well. But still, it's an important task to be a part of. So I want no funny stuff." he said. The two did play around a bit when they were having a break between missions. "Tell that to Ami." said Kyoh, earning him a nice jab to the ribs. The instructor took out his battle fan and hit the two of them with it. "That's enough you two. Now lets go. Once we reach Ohtoku City, we'll split up."
"It feels weird being in Neudaiz doesn't it?" asked Kyoh. Of course he was referring to that if it wasn't for the Seed, Ami would probably be going to college here for the performing arts. "It does." she said. "Make sure you have your communits set." said their instructor. "Okay." said the two. They split off into their seperate ways.
"Hey. isn't that Ethan?" asked Kyoh. Ami stopped when she saw the shade of brown hair. "You're right. And wait..." Her face became pale at the male beside him. "And Hyuga too? So they are being trained together." Kyoh had to laugh at it. Though they were on good terms, Ethan and Hyuga were like rivals during their time at the academy. After a few moments, they heard a scuffle and an explosion. "Oh crap." said Ami. She started running. "Kyoh, comm Instructor!"
When Ami got to the scene, she had hoped that none of her friends were hurt. "Excuse me." she said. When she got to the center, she saw that Ethan had gotten a brunt of the assassins self destruct. "Why would a Cast-?" "You're a newman right?" asked Hyuga, "Can't you use a technic?" The question was directed at the female newman, about the same age as them. She shook her head silently. "I can't..." "What's going on?"
Everyone became silent as the Maiden got to the group. "Oh no, he's hurt." she said. She knelt down to Ethan and performed Giresta on him. Ami was amazed at how quickly he healed. Kyoh got to where Ami was. "Oh man, I hope no one was hurt." Ami was getting red. "It's fine now. They apprehended the assassin. But why a Cast?" "Oh Ami! Kyoh!"
Their instructor walked up to them. "Oh I'm glad. I heard the explosion and I thought the worse." He looked. "Oh! Karen? Is that you?" The purple haired newman turned around. "Emil?" Ami and Kyoh looked at their instructor. "Emil?" Emil let out a sigh. "Yes, my name is Emil. Emil Prescott." Karen and another newman, with blond hair, ran up to them. "It's been a while Emil." Emil smiled. "I know. I didn't know you were an instructor as well." Karen hid the slight blush. "Yes, these are Ethan Waber and Hyuga Ryght. Everyone, this is Emil Prescott. He and I went on a couple missions." Ami was doing her best to hide behind Kyoh, with no avail. Emil smiled. "Oh! I didn't see you Maya. It's been far too long. I think three years." The blond newman, Maya gave a wave. "Yes it has Emil. We need to go out to lunch again sometime. Who are those two?" Emil turned to them. "Oh, these are my trainees, Kyoh Sage and Ami Satomora."
"Kyoh? Ami?" asked Ethan. Ami gave a small wave. "It's been a while eh heh heh." He couldn't help the smile on his face. "It's been months." Kyoh sighed. "I know." Emil looked at them. "You four are already aquainted?" "Yeah," answered Kyoh, "we were in the same class at the academy." Hyuga looked kinda confused at Ami. "Wait? Ami?" She nodded as she pinned her hair a bit. "Oh! It is you!" he said. Ami blushed. "I'm growing my hair back so yeah." 'The uniform really does something. Stop thinking like that!' Ami thought. Maya looked at her watch. "We have a bit of time. Why don't the four of you catch up while us three do the same?" "That sounds like a great idea." said Emil. Before Ami could say anything the three were gone, leaving the trainees.
"Ami, are you okay? You look pale." asked Ethan. "I'm fine." she said, "I'm going to Yohmei's. They have a good selection of twin daggers. And get a couple Technic disks while I'm at it." She got up. "I'll come with." said Hyuga. Ami blushed again before walking off. "Okay, I don't care."
At Yohmei's Ami was trying to be as normal as possible. She was looking through the weapon's selection. "Oh, this is nice." Hyuga came beside her. "What?" She pointed at a twin dagger. "Gizaha-zashi. But's a high leveled weapon. Plus I don't have the meseta for it just yet." He noticed it as well. "You'll get it in no time." Ami smiled a bit. "Thanks." She heard her communit beep. "Ami, we've been called to do a mission." Emil said. Ami closed her eyes. "Got it, I'm on my way." She looked at him. "Duty calls." The two gave a nod before Ami left the shop.
Ami arrived at the Guardians Branch a few minutes later. She was led to a meeting room. There was Kyoh and Emil. "I'm sorry I was a bit late." she said. She took her seat. "It's alright." said Emil, "Anyway, we've been called to deal with a Seed outbreak in the C.D. District. You've dealt with the Flame-based blumes. But Ice-based are different. You have specific spots in which you can weaken the sheild." The two nodded. After a few more moments of explaining, Emil walked over to the door. "Neudaiz is pretty, but the native creatures are pretty fierce." Ami looked through her equipment to see if she had everything settled. "You two ready?" The trainees nodded as they stood as well. "Lets go then."

I know I got the Seed terminology wrong. I honestly hated those purifying missions.
