Soo I've been away because I thought people would be upset with me. Turns out that they were more upset that I left. I feel loved, and very guilty. One of those mixes. ;-;

Anywayy. So I was looking up things from youmacon 2009, and I found a video of the Alice and Wonderland Tea Party on Saturday, where Alice and the White Rabbit were stacking their cups and such when they ran outta tea. That tea party was amazing. And, I'm in it! <33

Sigh, good times. I remember drawing Alice, and the one other rabbit and the Mad Hatter (who left before the cup stacking commenced), and Colt (the kitty boy! <3). And I was given tea, and an "Eat Me" cookie, and a strawberry marshmallow. The last two of which I have in a Ziplock bag along with other Youmacon goodies in a drawer of mine, lol.
A N Y W A Y s . I couldn't help but go off on tangents of how E P I C Youmacon 2010 is gonna be!
Auradria and I are planning on reserving a table in the Artist's Alley this year. We probably won't do anything with ANL, sadly ( due to copyright stuff...if someone steals our stuff we can't do anything about it. :/ ). But, Aura plans on making kitty collars, and I plan on doing anime-themed charm jewelry, and of course we'll both be drawing and making (and hopefully selling) prints. <3
The A W E S O M E S T part is that we plan on getting an entire group of friends together for the whole weekend to chill at my house and go to Youmacon! It's less than 20 miles from my place, so that's perfect - Detroit Renaissance Center baby.
We're gonna have to rent a car (well, van), and luckily by then the lot of us here in Michigan will know how to drive (legally)... We're gonna go to outta state and snatch up Ari and May, and hopefully be able to make it to get Diro too. Then of course there's Aura and me (we're the ones going to get them after all), and then Kila as well, and probably the group of four guys... That's six guys, four girls, up to ten people crashing in my tiny room for about four days. xD

It'll take a fair amount of funds for any chance of this happening, but it was a definite for all of us going for at least a Saturday. Aura and I looked at it this way - if we break even at our table (and we plan on doing at least that), and make a little extra, as long as we make enough it'd be the same price to go for the whole weekend as it would for one Saturday. Then we don't have to rush it all in one night, we can get everyone back to their own states by Monday morning, and the only thing sacrificed is a little sanity and two days of school for the minors.
I say that's t o t a l l y worth it for a few days of fun with friends.

I can't wait to see the friends I made (and people I fangirl'd over) last year again, too. That rabbit I spoke of earlier, the one that left before the cup stacking - I never got her name, but after drawing her she's the one who gave me the idea of getting a table next year for 2010 anyway.
Then there's everyone else that was at the tea party, plus Colt, the one who gave me the marshmallow. And that girl who cosplayed as Chii (the only good one I saw), and that guy who cosplayed as Snake that was ninja-ing around.
And this time, I'M BRINGING a C A M E R A. Omg.
I was thinking about cosplaynig... I could just cosplay as Junni (my OC) all three days, but I really wanted to do a Chii cosplay, or maybe a Gaara fangirl theme, or something else e p i c .
Can't be me without being epic.
