Dearest Lilith,
This is your sister, Taylor. I know you are alive, I just do. Maybe we will never see each other again. Do you still love our family? Please come home if you do. Don't leave me here all alone, I need you. Please, Lilith. There's no time to waste. I have left home to come search for you. Please come find me.
Love always,
Taylor

I put my pen down. I put on my peacoat and layed down, tired. Just as I was drifting off to sleep, I heard a faint sound. I ignored it. Then I heard water. Not the rushing water that was coming from the river, but splashed water. As if somebody jumped into the river. What could I do? Was somebody with me? I picked up my candle and slowly headed toward the river. I smelled something. Something pleasant. Something that wasn't supposed to be in this woods. But it smelled good. Sort of like vanilla and apple cinnamon. I peeked through the bushes and saw a figure. Pale white under the full moon. She was a girl; I could tell by her hair. She just stood in the water. She finally turned around and I could see her face. I recognized it. Lilith. She was the same, but different. She was recognizable, but only faintly. She was much more beautiful. Her long brown hair flowed down her back, and it was wavy. How could that be? She was my identical twin! And I looked nothing like that! Well, I did have brown hair that was long but mine was straight! And so was hers. Until now. When did she cut her hair? How could she have made it wavy? Maybe it was just the water. I held my breath as she stared at me with deep crimson eyes.
