I have been thinking abut this for a bit. My whole perspective on Anita Pallenburg. I do have a love/hate relationship, but it seems as though I am leaning towards a hate to her.
I know a lot of people who regard her as one of the best woman of the Stones and consider her a bad a** girl. I, for one, think some-what of the opposite. I know a lot of people who would think that I wasn't grasping the picture.
Well, I don't really like how she acted many times. I know I don't really like Bianca (Mick's wife) much, but how Anita reacted was just plain stupid. She viewed that she had some-what of an iron fist over the Stones. That she was in control. She viewed Bianca as coming in to take over. I actually didn't like how Anita treated her when she came in. Bianca was trying to fit and and Anita basically scorned her for it. How she tried to push Bianca out.
I do think Anita started to become outrageous with her antics. How she took pleasure in telling him about her spending time with Mick to make Keith jealous. I've read many times that she knew that she could never break up Keith and Mick, knowing that their bond was stronger than hers and Keith's, so she tried to drive wedges between both of them. She did like how Keith would become furious over that.
Her doing drugs wasn't really surprising. She did encourage Brian's drug use along with her own. Lots of biographers like to portray Brian as a person who beats Anita and she's trying to find a way out, but she did give it back. She did hit Brian and Brian hit her. They were really abusive towards each other.
I also didn't like her little thing of encouraging people at Nellcote to take heroin. Also, her little thing in Jamaica. How she basically did what she wanted and then a many people were upset at her. I don't think it was right for the policeman and other to treat her like that, but they did because they were upset at what she did.
I don't know, but she is getting on my nerves. I don't really think she was all that bad a**, just another girl who thought she was high and mighty and couldn't be touched.
