Big pimpin' Brian.
Big pimpin' Brian.
This has been bothering me for a bit. Alright, here's the scenario:
There is this one kid in my class and his name is Jimmy. He likes Pink Floyd and wears a Floyd shirt a lot. It's "The Wall" that he's always wearing. Well, he was talking to his friend behind me and apparently he found out I liked Pink Floyd. Some questions came out and I corrected him on every one of those questions.
Then I said that Syd Barrett (R.I.P) was the creator of Pink Floyd and Roger admired him. BUT, then he says that Floyd kicked him to the curve for because Syd deserved it. That Syd didn't deserve to be in the band because he made horrible music. He said that he was grateful for Syd being kicked out. He doesn't consider Syd apart of Pink Floyd. That Pink Floyd never needed him.
I told him that if it wasn't for Syd, people wouldn't even know the idea of Pink Floyd, nor would it have existed. He disputes everything. He doesn't think Floyd ever needed Syd. That he was just there.
To make matters worse, he said he didn't really like the Stones. He said because he didn't like Mick Jagger. That Mick was bisexual and that was a big turn off for him. He couldn't get past Mick. But he said their ONLY good song is "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'". That did piss me off because he couldn't like them because they've had some gay history.
I know a lot of people out there who could completely destroy that guy who doesn't like Syd. They could tell him off.
No music. The movie "Bad Boys" is on in the background.
