So, I just heard that Mick was on Larry King and he doesn't know when the next tour will be......
DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS????!!
A ******** ROLLING STONES TOUR IS IN THE FUTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I go so excited. But then, I got hit with something: high tickets.
Damn, that kind of squabbled me a little. So, now I have to actually scrape money together. I did see some potential awesomeness that come with this and I clearly need to get a job. McDonald's is out of the question though. I just hope I can get something out of it.
Now, it does remind me that the Stones are doing wondrously in the sales. Most stores are completely sold out of any Exile material. It's selling quite well on iTunes, Amazon, and other places. People are predicting it will definitely go to #2, and possibly #1. If that does, then the Stones are the only band to reach #1 albums in 5 decades. Meaning, they've had #1 albums every decade.
If they're planning a tour, then I think they would play lots of Exile things. More down, low key dates will have more variety of songs. Stadiums have a required song content. The warhorses (known as songs that are played every tour, on every date, or known as overplayed songs. See: Brown Sugar, Satisfaction, Start Me Up) will be played more because people like hearing them. Not hardcore Stones fans. They would like more renditions of Sway, Moonlight Mile, Rocks Off, and even earlier nuggets.
This also makes me wonder if Mick T. will get royalties more. A lot of fans know about the Jagger-Richards credits and know that Taylor composed some of those. Even Keith didn't play on some tracks, i. e. Moonlight Mile, which should have been Jagger-Taylor. Keith didn't play on any of it, in fact, he missed the session for it. Too busy off doing heroin.
It seems like Keith is the least willing to acknowledge anybodies contributions outside of Jagger-Richards, Mick could be like that, but it seems to strike me like Keith is the least willing. So, I just hope that it could go well for him.
Currently listening to "Backstreet Girl" by The Rolling Stones.
