I stand on the border,
Of love and of hatred,
Not following orders.
They say that with time,

That time is still streaming,
But darkness won't take me,
I'll be kicking and screaming.
Words so soft-spoken,
An ocean of doubt,
Unable to fly far,
You've saved me from drought.
Damn my dishonor,
Damn this disgrace,
Life's not worth living,
Without seeing your face,
Or touching your skin,
Or holding your hand,
