The chat on gmail apparently works at work now, and Adam caught me online. It was nice to chat for a bit.
I had a couple I had met at the Convoy of Hope come in for an OBB session. They've certainly been through a lot...this financial situation is scary, healthcare for anyone (if you can even get it) is scary...sigh. It was really nice that they were so friendly and talktative. I just wish I could help people more.
I also talked to a guy that does housing services for veterans, and he had some rather disparaging things to say about the way some counties handle them (including *cough* my county). He had lots of people for me to call, though.
Going to get groceries this evening, rah.
