He is the owner of the Tokubetsu restaurant, also the co-manager and one of the employers. He is not a major nor a minor character. He has a rugged appearance, thanks to his Tohaku accent, but is in fact very soft and easy to get along with. He is very passionate and sometimes as childish as Gerry, which gives the chefs the impression that Seiichiro isn't who they think he is. He is married to Calista and their son is Nodoka.

She is the only woman to hold a position in the main kitchen, which makes her brag plenty. She tends to complain and whine to everyone she knows about everything. She is Canadian/Japanese and speaks in an Okinawan dialect, having been raised in Okinawa. She is the wife of Seiichiro and the mother of Nodoka, although the three normally avoid one another in and even outside the kitchen. She is also one of the very few people than can actually intimidate Sora.

He's an individual who always has a smug look on his face. He's normally very strict and harsh towards people, but is often kind-hearted to some people he's known for a long time, though he is still very intimidating. He is the older brother and legal guardian of Yori, although he isn't into it. He is also very possessive and protective of Mana, much to his embarrassment. He tends to be unsure of himself at times.

He is a carefree person who tends to slack off, even when the restaurant is extremely busy. He is the older brother of Eiji, though he looks younger. Chefs often describe him as an older Mana, due to the fact that they have similar personalities and that they look somewhat similar, albeit their eye and skin color. He later admits to Eiji that he has a surprisingly deep infatuation with Sora, but didn't realize in time that his brother can't keep a secret to save his life.

He is the younger brother of Ken, though he looks older. He is very cocky and ill-bred, similar to Yori. It is also shown that he absolutely cannot keep a secret. He usually teases the Hirata boys and is very sassy towards Sora. He often argues with him, often because he thinks he doesn't deserve to have the executive spot at such a young age. He is seen often gloating about "having the highest role in the kitchen".

An American man who is of Japanese decent. He's often very excited and gung-ho, even ending his sentences with desu yo to give him a very energetic flare. He is often called "Garlic" as a joke, due to both fish and garlic having bad odor, though he doesn't mind it. He and Hikaru seem to get along very well, though he seems to have trouble getting along with Haruki. He also detests people who call him "Gary".

He is a complex person, often shouting at others who would disobey him. He is also known for having one of the leanest bodies in the kitchen, resulting from his habit of grilling everything he can. He, Gerry, and Hikaru normally do not get along for many reasons. His last name, Asada, is a semi-popular Japanese surname and is the Spanish word for "something grilled or roasted", as Ito is of Spanish decent and knows the language a tad bit.

He is one of the older chefs in the kitchen, in between 26 to 35. He is one of Gerry's good friends, having met in training. He is very watchful over people, but tries his best to avoid getting involved in any conflict whatsoever. He is the only person in the kitchen, besides Seiichiro and Calista, who already has a partner in the start of the story. Even though he works in a Japanese restaurant, he does not like working with Tempura batter. It is also said that he doesn't get along with Haruki.

Remi is a person who enjoys to annoy others. He thinks he is the best thing to ever happen in the kitchen, even though Seiichiro reminds him daily that Sora is. He is one of those people who goes by the book, much to people's dismay. He is also very confident about himself and often teases Mana by giving him tips on "how to be a better person in general", aggravating him. He is noted of having A.D.D.

A high-class French man, who gave Seiichiro the idea of giving the kitchen a French-styled brigade in a restaurant that specializes in Japanese cuisine. He and Seiichiro have a better relationship than Nodoka and Seiichiro do. He is very hushed and brotherly, often giving other chefs tips and receiving high respect. He is often considered to be the "perfect lackey" by Takashi, who grows slightly envious of him.

He is a bit of a serious introvert, winds up being easy to take advantage of, and is the type who will welcome one into his heart once he knows the person. Due to the fact that he has a lesser role in the kitchen, his confidence is very low. He is Takashi's older brother, guardian, and boyfriend. He is classified as a Tsundere character, point proven whenever he's around Sora. Since he grew up without love, he doesn't really know what it is.

He's characterized by being an androgynous, which often confuses Sora and Mana. He is mentally abusive and just as intimidating as Sora. He's taunted by others, with the fact the he looks so plastic. He normally doesn't talk much, but when he does, he would either coax information out of a person (normally secrets) or he would take out to drink to the point where he would rape that person, as Sora and Mana are victimized.

He is characterized by his Kobe dialect. He is also one of the very few characters, besides Junko, Takashi, and Manabu, that actually looks Japanese with his dark brown eyes and almost black hair. He is described as an older Takashi, due to similar personalities. He is very coy and is actually very full of bizarre innuendos, often telling others about them and surprising them. He and Yuuki met during grade school and received the name Sukkun from him.

He is Jin's younger twin brother. He is hot-blooded and very short tempered, which scares most people in the kitchen. He is more feminine than Jin, even talking in a school-girl accent at times. He even has a very feminine appearence, which always gives people the impression that he can't harm a fly. He tends to have his hands and/or apron covered in blood. It is said that he is a fan of pain, whether it comes from him or applied to him.

The token shota boy, although he is older than Yori. He is Mana's younger brother and boyfriend after a while. He is easily flustered, but can be serious, sarcastic, and even violent when needed. He is also very humble and even frugal, both good-and-bad characteristics of his. He is characterized by his Kansai dialect, but is often troubled when it comes to saying the words chopsticks and edge, thanks to the Kansai. He is also deathly afraid of the Henohenomoheji face.

He is Rin's older twin brother, polar opposite as well. He had experiences with the Russian mafia, resulting the deep scar he has on the left side of his face, but he has left that in his past. He's usually sane and has the patience of a saint, but turns cruel when aggravated. In Chapter 9, he successfully rapes Mana, although he was given a warning by Sora, telling him that "if he laid a finger of Mana, he would shove a pipe up his a** so deep, it'll have to come out of his mouth".

She is very assertive to her co-workers and is fierce. She was under Jin's wing before he left, never to find out why. For a couple of weeks, when Mana was busy, she replaced Jin until Kris replaced him. She is actually very anti-social and rude to others. She often helps Mana and Takashi with their hair and/or make-up whenever they are forced to dress as waitresses or Garçons. She is said to sport a fanny-pack almost every day.

He is very kept to himself, often called Satori for that's another word for tranquility, though many do not realize that he is actually clinically depressed. He is normally cold and anti-social, much like Junko. Susumu is actually the only person who can really communicate with him without offending him in any way, much like Mana can talk to Sora. He often relies on Susumu for help with his depression.

She is Jin's replacement. She has an obsession with Takashi, an unnatural one. She has a very shady past, having been one of Sora's girlfriends during middle school and one of Mana's girlfriends in college. She is a fujoshi who ends up feeling out of place when she finds out that most of the kitchen is gay. She often imagines herself in a Japanese drama, due to "boy-overload". Ito noted that She is inspired by one of his dear friends.

Despite his occupation, he is barely able to drink alcohol himself, having a low tolerance.

She is also known for having a sweet-tooth, always craving Chupa Chups, Pocky, Umaibō, and Milka chocolate bars, receiving the nickname Coco-chan from Jin. She's also admitted of having unhealthy obsessions with both Sora and Felix.

He is a self-proclaimed star soccer player and student council president and actually hopes to become a restaurateur, something he had adopted from his older brother.

The absentee father of Takashi, the former caretaker of Mana and the ex-lover of Aya. He's bitter like the tea he enjoys to drink. He's an ex-soldier for the U.S Army and has a scar that is on the bridge of his nose. He's usually surrounded by women, normally prostitutes, and is a heavy drinker of sake and o-toso. Takashi is the spitting image of Manabu, albeit the fact that they have never met in their lives.

Aya is the mother of Mana and Takashi. She and Manabu have gone their separate ways long ago, just after Takashi was born. She's kind-hearted and genuine, much like her son, Takashi, who she took care of. She is described as being abused and beaten daily by her second husband, who was left without a name. Mana is the spitting image of Aya, even though they haven't had formal contact in almost 19 years.
