This morning my supervisor "suggested" that I organize the papers on my desk. Which is funny for two reasons. One, she had previously complained to me about another employee having too clean of a desk (and therefore, by my supervisor's reasoning, she obviously must have been spending more time organizing than working), and two, my supervisor's desk is also rather messy. I personally don't mind organizing things at all. In fact, I basically have a Master's degree in it. I was actually purposefully keeping my desk messy so that I wouldn't get accused of reason #1. Ah well.

Also, I learned that yes, coffee can grow mold. My boss apparently had made coffee for a visitor and...never threw it out. So I cleaned it up because I didn't want anyone coming into our office to be sickened by the sight of mold growing in a pot of really old coffee (or sickened by the moldy coffee). It probably wasn't my job, but I did it anyway (I am also wary of being accused of wasting time doing things that are "not my job" wink . I actually was kind of amused and was tempted to let it see how far it would go, but I decided to go with common decency in case we had any guests that wanted coffee in the near future. Also in case the fact that there was mold in there could somehow get blamed on me. You just never know with my supervisor's reasoning.

My sister and her boyfriend have apparently already left to visit home/his friends. So I'm doing laundry. And then I'm going to watch Bleach. And maybe read Bleach. And maybe read mythology. And maybe draw. So many choices, so little free time...
