Today was pretty cool. It was the first day of BAND CAMP! I love marching band and band camp, even though there were lots of moments where I just wanted to go home and take a nap today.
Our band's pretty awesome, in the sense that we have lots of will and determination and we know that if we put our minds to it, we can achieve anything. Our director is into that inspirational stuff like that, like those posters and little notes that say "Most people don't recognize success because it comes in the form of hard work." or "The biggest enemy of greatness is when 'good' becomes 'good enough'."
I just wonder what the season's going to be like with all the seniors that just left. We had a lot of great people.
Well, that's pretty much it for the day. I have to get to sleep. Tomorrow I get a break and then its off to band camp for the rest of the week.
