Saturday was rather busy...had the last day of CSA (helped unload the truck...then I had to run to my next volunteer gig, which was the Green Hat Ladies meeting). I basically helped set up and serve the meal. They had a musician/singer/dancer guy for entertainment who was decent. The old ladies seemed to enjoy him. And then I helped clean up. Some of them told stories, like the one lady who had gotten back together with a guy for the third time in a rather romantic fashion (better than it sounds). And then when I got back to the apartment, I went right back out again with my sister and her boyfriend to have dinner with a couple of her friends. I had tasty lentil soup and cake. We watched a couple of hilarious movies back at the apartment afterwards (Spinal Tap and Best of Show).
Today I read some more Mercedes Lackey and was happy. And then I went grocery shopping. And then I called my parents and chatted with my mother.
