Let the healing come
The cleansing of our guilt and shame
The disappearing of our past
Let the lies fade
Let His presence come
And realize the power of a moment
Some wounds take a lifetime to heal
Some are washed away in a moment
Some memories last a lifetime
Some disappear like a moment.
It only takes a moment to destroy something
And a lifetime to rebuild
A hurricane rushing through the house like they’re nothing
The words that were spoken but can’t be taken back
It only takes a few second to break someone
And it can take a lifetime to heal.
In a moment you can
Either encourage someone and change their life
Or break everything God’s been working in them
Help someone up to their feet again
Or push them farther down to the ground
It all happens in a moment.
Let the words flow
Let the healing come

Let the lies fade
Let His presence come
We let seconds pass by
Without even realizing what’s happening
We take for granted what’s been given to us
So we take that moment and we waste it on sin
Unaware of the damage we’ve just done.
In the time it took to sin
You could have set someone free in prayer
In a moment everything passes by
Looking back it seemed like just yesterday
Life made sense again.
We don’t realize the value of our life
We waste it away thinking that there’s always another day
But none of us are promised tomorrow
None of knows what the future holds in store
Looking back with regrets you’ve could have lived the life He gave.
It only takes a moment to destroy something
And a lifetime to rebuild

No matter where you’ve been
What you’ve done already
Here in this moment you can make a change
Here in this moment He’s cleansed you of your shame
He’s taken your past and washed it all away.
There’s no condemnation in Him
Give your heart back to Him
And a moment will never be wasted
He’ll take every wasted year
Every falling tear
Make it new again
Turn the bad into good
Ugly in to beauty once again
In only a moment.
In only a moment
He set us free with His dying breath
And truth was revealed to everyone
Even those who pierced His side with the sword
In that moment they realized who He was
And what they did.
In this moment give your regrets to Him
Let Him give you new life again
Don’t forget this moment
Don’t live in the past
Don’t live in the future
But enjoy the moment He’s given you now.
In this moment raise your hands
And worship Him with everything
Realize His never ending love
Die to yourself and live to Christ
And just like the dying leaves show their true beauty
When you’ve given your life fully to Him
Your true beautiful colors show.
So let the words flow
