I don’t have all the answers
Why we pray and they still leave
Why some things just don’t change
How there’s a loving God
And we live in a broken world
How He existed before time
And why He even loves me so.

I can’t explain
But there’s a peace and a love in my heart
That wasn’t there before
When I was torn all apart
Broken on my knees
A joy that wasn’t there before
I was depressed and I could still be depressed
My life was a mess
But I know He’s there for me.

I can’t tell you why you were made the way you were
How your heart seems to break so easily
But I know there’s more than just the pain
There’s more than the emptiness inside
Something the world can’t fill
And it seems to me like He’s there.

Believe what you want
But I need Him next to me
I don’t understand
But without Him it’s sinking sand
My world is spinning
But my heart’s screamin’ out for something more.

I can’t explain
