So today I went to Great America with my friend as promised... I woke up a little past 5 after an especially disturbing dream about cockroaches all over my room and something darker than even that.... Lay in bed with my Sephy plushie a while and eventually fell back asleep... Woke up, got dressed, ate a bit, then we went over to my friend's house with a backpack, lots of water, a hair brush, suntan lotion, 35 bucks (20 from my Mom for lunch Rest of the 15 bucks is my own allowance.), a bit of food, a hat, a hairbrush, a scrunchie, a jacket, and an extra shirt. We were joking all the way to Great America and when we got there we actually had someone sell us a discount ticket because they had an extra one because apparently one of their friends couldn't come. Spared me the money of a ticket. I ended up paying for parking instead and we went inside.... First ride we went on, bumper cars. My friend had seen some pokedolls in the window of a store nearby (Ended up buying a Shaymin doll.) while her Dad and I dueled with the bumper cars... Since I helped my friend find what she wanted, it was now her turn to help me find what I wanted. (I had something particularly kinky in mind.)But first, we went on Flight Deck (Previously called Top Gun. Very fast roller coaster that goes over 55 miles an hour.) and had a good laugh... I didn't realize it was one of those roller coasters that took pictures of you while you rode and then showed them afterwards... My face was like.... A rape face. (I'm really ugly when I grimace, apparently.) The next couple hours were a blur... My friend found these giant poke dolls in some of the games and decided to come back when they were open. We went shopping and I found what I wanted. (Last time we had come here it was a few years ago and I had wanted to get my ears pierced... They had this like, goth shop where they were selling goth earrings and goth necklaces and whatnot. I had seen a necklace with a regular clasp and handcuffs as clasps and had wanted it but instead I got coffin earrings. So this time we looked for the same shop but it wasn't where it used to be anymore. After a bit of hunting my friend spotted the necklace I had been looking for. When we bought it I realized it had a normal clasp as well and it had two keys attached to it. I could have gotten something my Mom could have freaked out alot more over. I could have gotten a personalized collar to wear instead. But they weren't the kind I wanted. No they weren't Dog Collars, but they didn't have an O-ring on it. (I'll make the keys that came with the handcuffs necklace into earrings.) Bought some grape goth lip balm to go with it. (I had something from the same brand. It had Gir on it but it was Pink and smelled and tasted like Bananas. This one is Purple and smells and tastes like Grapes, and has cats from Emily The Strange on it..) We went and had lunch... Then I fell in love with this Blue Raspberry goo in tubes that actually tastes like the glue on envelopes with a tinge of Blue Raspberry. (I actually like the taste of the glue on envelopes, thank you very much.) I bought 5 tubes of it... There went the rest of the 15 bucks I brought with me. Sometime along the way in the park I realized we could have gone into Boomarang Bay (The waterpark section of Great America.) for free, until Labor Day. Too late now. Didn't bring a towel or a swimsuit, or even goggles or a haircomb. Mabye sometime later when my friend's in California we can go again and go to Boomarang Bay. Alot more of the afternoon went by in a blur. Don't remember which rides we rode. But I think we went on less than 10 in all, which was a bit of a dissapointment... Then the big games were open and my friend wanted to play for a Pokedoll. We went to one of those hard games where you have to throw balls into a certain colored cup to win a certain sized prize... She spent 10 bucks for 15 balls and began tossing... Around her 5th-7th toss she got it into a Red cup, which meant she got a large prize. (First big winner of the day, too!) She chose a like, 3 foot tall Shinx Plushie and we went on our way, ignoring the suspicious looks of other people in the park... Soon we got tired and called her Dad (We were going around the park separately.) and went back to her house. Cooled down a bit and dangled our feet in the pool in her backyard then played Super Smash Bros Brawl for a bit. It was around this time I began getting the beginning of a cough that I ignored but would sorely regret later. Had a bit of a chat with her Mom and recalled the day's events... Stayed until about 5 then got picked up by Dad and went home... I had a bit of Buyer's Regret when we got home. I was feeling hot and sticky and sick and I had a headache... All I wanted was to take a shower and get clean, then work things out. Had Mom hide away the goo I had gotten, and took a look at the picture of our cat on my bed she had apparently taken while I was away. (Cute. Real cute. Little bugger hopped on my bed after I left and snuggled with my plushie til 2 PM. -.-) Ended up taking a tylenol after for my aches and pains. Took up Sephy from where he had been resting in my bed, my handcuffs necklace, my scorpion necklace, my comb... Realized I had only spent 15 bucks of my own money (Whew...) and relaxed a bit... Eventually got pestered into taking cough medicine by my Dad for my "cough". Ate something to get rid of my sugar crash symptoms. I feel alot better now. Especially cause I now have medicine and normal food in my system, as well as my plushie. That and I finally worked out how to open the handcuffs with the keys I have. (Mabye I'll make them into earrings tomorrow.) I need some rest and relaxation... I'm hoping I didn't catch a cough.
