Yay for no work! This weekend was a fun one at home - did taxes (Turbo Tax said I didn't get a refund, but the Benefit Bank said I did, so I submitted my taxes through them), went to the Hilbert family gathering and saw relatives on that side (my second cousin is taking his bar exam, which sounds insane - 3 days, 9 hours each day, 200 multiple choice, 12 essays, and 2 practicals...no wonder I never wanted to be a lawyer), and got together with my mom's side for my aunt's/sister's/my birthday celebrations. I worry about my aunt a bit, as she's turning 50 and not very happy about her life in general (still wants to get married, doesn't care much for her job, weight issues, etc.). I feel bad for her, but I don't know what I can do to help.
Today I decided to go shopping - I got a new pair of cargo pants and a new pair of winter boots (my old ones of the former are too short, and my old ones of the latter have flapping soles) and a bunch of new books (manga and mythology, of course).
