So, I'm pretty sure I got a part time job at the library I did an internship and practicum at! Unfortunately this means finding another part-time job and moving and all kinds of other things, but I love this library and am super excited.
I also managed to pick up more of Ouran High School Host Club and Inuyasha (the big editions) at the Borders that's going out of business near me, so that is quite exciting as well.
I finished X/1999 last night (or what there is of it so far...finish it, CLAMP, please!). I love some of the characters, but man is that series depressing. Also unexpectedly gory. People being ripped to bits is not pretty. Also, cuddling with decapitated heads is highly disturbing, to say the least. They also seemed to have some ideas taken from Kabbalah, which is...curious. As well as various other end-time mythologies. Kind of strange. Very bloody. Very angsty. But still enjoyable.
I also need to note my joy at having found more old CLAMP manga at Half Price Books yesterday. It's funny that I was just lamenting the fact that none of the libraries up here had Miyuki-chan in Wonderland or Shirahime-Syo, but behold, both of the volumes were available for purchase rather cheaply (as were all three volumes of CLAMP School Detectives). So my CLAMP collection has grown!
And now I'm reading Basara, which managed to hook me in the first volume. Yay, action and adventure and cool characters!
