After spending hours and hours on the phone with the Internet company and them not coming when they said they would come multiple times, someone finally showed up when he wasn't expected. See, I needed a phone jack installed in my apartment. Somehow I managed to move into a place that had no phone jack. I never imagined that some place wouldn't have one, but there you go. To make a long story short, yesterday involved my landlord drilling a hole into my bedroom wall so that the poor Internet guy could finally install my Internet. And I finally have Internet.
The other major excitement was the corner of my kitchen flooding, but that was last Tuesday and that crisis is way over now.
But other than that, things in my hobbit hole/badger den are going well (it's partially - mostly? - underground). It's looking cozy with all my bookshelves and stuff hanging on the walls and my new reclining chair up.
