I was SO looking forward to bringing my dogs on a walk today (my primary form of exercise! I'm very lucky to live in a nice area to walk in!), but when I got home... the heat was just too much, for both parties involved. I myself am very sensitive to temperature (in the winter I constantly have goosebumps and in the summer I'm always sweaty and disgusting), but I could still bring them if I was the only one who was that hot. The thing was, when I got home and saw my dogs... the poor things were panting like crazy, and could hardly muster up the energy to greet my sister and I as we came home. sad I know that they do love their walks though, so hopefully I can bring them each on at least a short walk later this evening. smile With any luck, it'll cool down next week, though there's no telling with New England weather >.>
