Seen weak... inferior...
Was it Race? no... I am of Clan Vetreem... I am just like them.
Was it Status? No... I was born into the warrior class. The whole family was soldiers, even mother...
So why me? What was everyone trying to protect ME from?
... Now I know. But instead of hiding again... I simply killed it. That is the way I do things... that is the way of the Lightning Khan.

Name: Talkana Abadali of Clan Vetreem.

Age: Never says a specific age, just "Old enough."

Appearance: Show your respects, human, to the Lightning Khan.

Weaponry: The weapons of the Lightning Kahn are a simple Axe and the Vetreem heirloom hammer, Relvanar.

Powers: Talkana has no apparent magical powers or anything of the sort. However, she is abnormally fast for a dwarf, and also a bit stronger than most. Another thing is that most of her attire has been enchanted with magics to make her a terrifying soldier of war. Her axe and hammer surge the power of lightning into their victims. Her gloves are charged with energy to create the sound of the thunder's clap when they connect. These are the most note-worthy and attribute much to her success.

Bio: The only daughter in a family of seven, Talkana Abadani was a daughter of the clan Vetreem, which consisted of her parents and brothers. Vetreem was a clan of warriors, proud and noble intentioned, who's heirloom weapon was a heavy hammer claimed that only a true Vetreem could pick up. The way her society worked was each family was its own clan, and the cities they resided in were also called "Clans", though the city name was much more noble usually. A problem that Talkana was never aware of in her childhood was that the leaders of the city, something her father was a part of, were extremely corrupt. There was no true law, because if someone had the right connections then they would get off free. Everyone in Vetreem tried to hide Talkana from going into the military, but when her brothers discovered that they were unable to lift the hammer, desperation grew quickly and wildly. If none of the six men could, who could? Were there no true Vetreem's left?

One night when no one watched, Talkana decided to test her luck against the hammer and lifted it with ease, marvelling at how light it was. "This is mine now. And I will make my own decisions." She growled to her family before leaving them forever... or most of them, anyway. She quickly joined into the military, as there were many wars to be had, both inside the city and outside. From city wars to local clan wars... She grew close to a group of soldiers that worked with her, and the more they fought the more they came to the same conclusion. They labelled themselves as "Storm Riders" and broke off, going on a vigilante crusade against the evil in their city. When all was removed, Talkana cut ties to her past forever when she killed her own father in cold blood.

Talkana was the leader of the Storm Riders, and by first understanding how to rule a group, she learned how to rule several clans. Her influence quickly expanded, growing to the point where she united all the clans in her city, causing the whole cities several hundred clans to come together under one banner. This made the city of Vrenkai much more intimidating. From Vrenkai, Talkana waged war with other cities and took them into her realm of control. By the time she was middle-aged by her peoples terms, a good hundred-forty years, most of the northern Nevermore continent was under her realm. Within a year, the continent's whole northern region was controlled by her. Thousands of miles, owned by a single lady with the drive. The battle maiden would then assist the southern kingdoms in their crusades against living enemies as well as dead, and even go overseas to other lands as an unknown mercenary with the original Storm Riders. She had a powerful mage enchant most of her equipment, and Talkana donned the name "Lightning Khan" sometime during her conquests.

Talkana died a somewhat peaceful death. Before her crusades against the cities of her own people started, she made a vow. The vow stated that when she would no longer have enemies to crush, when her hammer and axe would feel no more blood, than that the skies and lightning should remove her, so she may find new enemies in the next world. When an unsteady peace came over the world because of the power of the Storm Riders, she was struck by a mighty bolt of lightning. Her axe and hammer are still sought after as powerful weapons. The nation she forged with blood and steel is alive. They identify themselves as the Sons and Daughters of Talkana, and they named their land Talkadai in honor of their savior and champion. Perhaps with her efforts, and the wars she participated in, people would come to fear the power of the Dwarves again. It is rumored that a girls laughter can be heard amongst the strongest of storms, and if you can find the strongest point of the storm, you will see an elemental Matriarch who's appearance is much alike Talkana's.

"Pissing and moaning about stories does a warrior no good. I've got a war to fight. Feel free to follow my lead if you want. Otherwise, die and wait for your fairy tale legends to come."

"When I go for walks in the woods, it is not for reasons normal ladies have like picnics. I've come to hunt down animals and beasts. My people need food."

"My whole childhood, I am forced to believe that the evil men prowl and always win. Then I took control of the clan and raised a new nation. I am the new prowler. I am the new hunter. And I never lose."
