I've been doing some random reading. I picked up Rick Riordan's The Lost Hero, which was surprisingly good...I should probably reserve his other series. And then I was rereading Guns, Germs, and Steel, and there was a line in there about the Arabs learning the secrets of papermaking from two Chinese prisoners of war, and for some reason this fascinated me and I wanted to learn more about it. Too bad there's no historical fiction about it that I could discover. I don't know if I could ever write historical fiction. I might be able to write a decent fantasy story based on it, but... Anyway, I wasn't able to find out much more about it, though I spent most of Saturday (when I wasn't at work) looking stuff up about that region and that time period. Sunday I did laundry at my grandparents, and then Jess came over and we had the first session of the Hunters game via AIM. It was fun to game again. And Jess seems to be liking Tsubasa, which makes me happy, as I adore that series.
