Sera's Public Journal
If you don't like it, don't comment on it. I might vent or rant. I'm not immune to certain stresses, and this doesn't really help. You CAN NOT and WILL NOT hold me responsible if you're a subject of this journal. Cmon, it's not like anyone will know.
Ah Fook's (2nd Day.)
Well I got up this morning. Don't remember much of my dream except that there was sex involved. (I know, I dream typical teenage dreams, don't I?) I got up a bit grumpy around 9 and had breakfast alone. I was still quite sunburned, and I made a vow to myself that if I did anything that day, it would be INSIDE. I got dressed, lounged around until lunch, had lunch... Read alot, got to Mockingjay AGAIN in the trilogy.

We went to the Maui Sugar Cane museum, which was near the factory. They were burning sugar cane at the factory, and it smelled like yogurt in some places, some places rotten eggs. Took a tour around, saw various equipments used. I learned a bit. I never really knew that molasses was a bi-product of cane sugar! We got to sample some cane sugar. Yes, it tasted like molasses AND sugar as well. Probably good in coffee.

We then went shopping at Queen Ka'ahumanu Shopping Mall and I depleted another 24 bucks out of my wallet. (I now have 64 bucks, soon to be 74 since tomorrow is allowance day.) We went to Border's book stores first and my Mom bought some guides to fish and plants. Sanrio was next, where I got bubble gum and apple-scented silly bands.

(Do you like silly bands, Ritsuka?)

Then we went to this nice fabric store that caught my eye because it had Hello Kitty in kimonos outside the store. I bought the small one for myself because I had been wanting one for such a long time. It was just as well, because I'm pretty sure the Bon festival is going on right now in Japan, and that the Tanabata is in August. Then I noticed the Hot Topic, and I couldn't help but go in. Didn't buy anything, though I wanted to.

(Ritsuka, I saw 3 t-shirts with Gir on them eating cupcakes and clever captions on them, but I realized I could probably get them for half price or better, buy one and get the other free at the mall in Hillsdale back at home. I already said that getting a t-shirt as a gift was too generic for someone, unless you barely know them and what they like, and I very well couldn't go and insult what we have with eachother which such trivial things. [me, personally, something has much value to me if someone I'm in love with or close to sends me something that actually belonged to them, like a t-shirt, ironically... Well it would have value to me, if it ever happened.] Besides, I was beginning to feel like there was going to be enough to send you in the box, anyhow. I don't want to turn into the person that empties their wallet spending stuff on EVERYBODY.)

After that we went back to the hotel, and I took a nice dip in their pool and brushed up on my swimming skills. Not bad. Now me, I haven't rode a bike since I was like 11, and they say you never forget, but for me, swimming is the kind of thing you NEVER forget. Humans are naturally born with the skill to swim from being submerged for the first 9 months of life.... But we soon forget it. I was one of the some lucky enough to have swim lessons MANY times as a child.

Oh, my hair is going to be positively GREEN by the time we leave.

It was nice and cloudy, but I still applied alot of sunscreen to prevent any more damage to my already tender skin. I somehow managed to get clean and dressed afterwards, and we went to dinner at this little restaurant called Coconut's Fish Tacos, located right next door to Peggy Sue's. Thing is about Coconut's Fish Tacos, it started in 2009 and was named after... Surprise! A CAT. biggrin It now has 4 stars and still serves very good fish. It deserves those four stars, and like it's neighbor, we WOULD come back. We had dessert at Peggy Sue's, they make excellent sundaes and shakes! Then we wen't back, and here I am!

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention about the title. Ah Fook's is a restaurant near Queen Ka'ahumanu Shopping Mall. It caught my eye, because even I have my own spells of childish immaturity.

Just imagine, AH FOOK'S! Say it aloud.

Yeah, I'm good.

Aloha,

-Sera
