I hate watching my Angel cry,
To watch tears fall from his eyes.

And to watch him cry is like a knife

Why is the world so cruel to an Angel
Whose smile is as bright as the sun,
Skin a sweet golden brown and sun-kissed,
Eyes the most rich chocolate brown,
Lips as sweet as a sugary treat,
And whose heart is worn on his sleeve?
The world is cruel to this Angel of mine,
Thus those tears fall from his eyes.
If I could do anything to make that smile bright,
To make those eyes shine with a bright gleam,
