Joss/Farrah/Viraj fight
The pair pop in to say hi when sudden heavy rain and possible flooding (and a tiny power outage) from a freak hurricane drop on them, forcing them to stay where they are. Joss is left alone with his hated Aunt and Uncle. Misha calls to say she can't come. It's too dangerous. Joss is even more frustrated because of his lack of a girlfriend for support, and Farrah won't shut up. Knowing that Misha just called, Farrah picks up a picture of Joss and Misha and jumps into the lap of Viraj sitting on the couch and is like "look! Cousins! Isn't it cute!" He goes "IT'S JUST ADOPTION!" and Viraj can kind of laugh and go "Dude, just chill," and Farrah says to cool it because it was just a joke and then Joss goes off on his rant. "No! No, I'm not gonna chill! I'm sick of trying to cool it and control it around you and your f*cking slave!" Neither of them would be taking it seriously at that point yet, so Viraj would kiss Farrah teasingly and be all "Hear that, babe? I'm your slave. Guess that means the handcuffs are coming out of retirement, hm?" Farrah would playfully hit Viraj's shoulder like "Babe, not in front of the kids. Let him think of his own dirty secrets to share with cousin Misha." Joss would hold the cross to his chest, really trying to keep a grip on it, then look up at them with this cold-as-death glare he got from his father in his eyes and just go "You two are despicable..." Farrah asks Viraj "What does he mean, babe? Was that cousin's crack too much?" Kinda like trying to be serious and a little worried she was actually mean to him and honestly having no idea what he's upset about and yet talking about him like he's not there. Joss at that point could be like "No, I'm upset because you broke my mother's heart, you assholes!" "What...is he talking about? I thought Leon was the cause of all Lydia's late night calls to mom and Fee..." Joss: "No, that was AFTER you two went around behind her back! Or have you conveniantly forgotten that? Remember? Like thirty years ago? She was out of town so you two stayed behind and cheated on her?!" Farrah: "Hun, that was thirty years ago. Your mom and I have reconciled. You can't honestly be mad at us for something we did when we were kids. Something that everyone else has forgiven and forgotten." "That does NOT mean I have to forgive and forget. I WON'T forgive and forget. I would never do something like that to Josie. In fact I would destroy anyone who would try to harm her in any way. You can't call yourself a decent person when you would do that to your own sister. She was in love with him, and you both just ignored that, like she never mattered. You are not good people!" "You.....you.....you think Lydia was in love with this creep? No offence, love. *kiss* (lol) Joss, you mom has never loved any man but your father, and she'll tell you herself. She would never have been happy with Viraj. No offence, babe. And more than that, you never would have existed. Yes, what I did was wrong, and I'll never say otherwise. But I was 18. Give a kid some slack. The only thing I had on the brain was sex....come to think of it that hasn't changed much....but Joss I was a stupid kid and no matter how much I want to, we can't go back in time and change that. Hate me if you want. Break you Aunt's heart and hate me till the day you die. But I can't regret chasing after the man I loved, no matter how wrong the method was. And I know Lydia doesn't blame me for what happened either." she were to go to kiss his cheek at the end, like maybe to try and show him that she loves him even if he hates her, Joss might be just angry enough to push her away from him. And that would send Viraj pouncing at him like a lion. Shove him against the wall, his arm pushed against his throat, and be like "Touch her again, and I'll split your head right here, right now. I don't care if you're my nephew, I will kill you if you ever touch any woman in anger like that again. Some ******** Christian you are!" Joss would go "At least I'm a better man than you!" and THEN Viraj would scoff and shake his head and reply, "You're not a man. You're father's a man. Your uncle Daniel. Jesus, that guy you keep saying you've "found". They're men. You're still a kid, Joss, so back down before I prevent you from ever becoming one!" Farrah would pull Viraj away like "Love, leave him alone. He's just defending his mom. Every boy does that. You remember when you did, don't you? And that was my fault too! *chuckle chuckle* Come on, let's just....let's go in the other room." Viraj would take her hand and say "We came to terms with you mom about what happened. Talk to her and she'll tell you. Your dad even slugged me when they started dating, making some clever cut only he could come up with... Restitution has already been made. So you might wanna reread that Bible of yours and check out -verse about forgiveness here-. Twelve years of Catholic school, buddy. I know His word. You might need to retake some classes." Farrah would tug him away silently and the two find themselves in the kitchen, clinging to each other for comfort. They love their nephew and it hurts deeply that he hates them. Farrah looks up at Viraj. "Would you have ever forgiven me had I done the same thing to Isha? Stollen Joey away." Viraj would kiss her forhead and say "No, but that was a different situation. Isha wasn't resilient like Lydia. She is now, but that is because of the strength Joey has given her. If you had taken him away from her then, I don't know what would have happened, but that...that is a different situation. Joss doesn't get it....not yet...."
