Who are you?
I don't know you
Not anymore.
Once you were my brother
In heart, if not in blood.
Once you swore fealty
To the same Lord I serve.
Joy seemed to light your words
And your spirit seemed untroubled.
What crack in your mail did I miss?
What wound that would fester?
What transformed you so?
I ask, but you will not say,
And I cannot pressure a stranger for answers.
Instead I wonder about my fallen brother
Praying that light would find him,
Because I am helpless against this chosen darkness.
