Species Name: Waterkin
Description of the Species: divided into two "cultures" of people. Though both share the same frame so there is no difference in size or weight, they are seen seperate due to skin. Referred to as Fishkin or Shark-kin based on if their skin is covered in scales or smooth-looking but very coarse in feel.
They average at about a height of 5'9, with a body frame that is shaped for swimming. There are odd 'horn' like appendages that some have but, so far, have no known purpose save for decor or perhaps intimidation. Horn numbers have been seen anywhere from 1 to 8, though the average is 4, and most of them are on the face or head.
Despite the fact that Waterkin have no pieces of themselves webbed, they are fantastic swimmers and seem equally at home in water and on dry land, though extremely arid regions can cause them some problems.
All Elemental-kin have some error or disability in their people. Following this pattern, Waterkin are known as the mute ones. Though they are mute and thus cannot speak with voice, they can still write and use a mixture of water, air, and thunder to speak between themselves.
The Waterkin are also known for being warriors, poets, and lovers of songs and stories. It is believed that they are warriors because the best songs, stories, and poems stem from the brutal sport.
