I've been thinking about what we should get, and everyone agrees that we could have a little looksie around the shops for them. ninja
First is the most essential appliance, the rice cooker/veggie steamer.
I'm not really concerned with the style/colour/etc. of the cooker, I just don't want it too bulky and it HAS TO WORK. That's it.
This one we don't direly need, but the kettle we currently have irks me to no end. I'm always paranoid of finding a spider in my tea or something, because of the partially open spout. I DON'T KNOW, I'M DUMB. So because of my insane paranoia, I really would love to get a hot water dispensing pot.
Finally, something I really want almost as much as the rice cooker is a Mini Toaster Oven.
I know, it's silly and frivolous, but I am TERRIFIED of using the oven. Stove top I am okay with, but I am scared the oven will eat me. I always burn myself. I will use it for cooking big things, but when I just want to toast something, or melt/grill something with cheese, this would be nice to have. I was thinking we could build something to suspend it over the counter space or attach it underneath a cabinet. I don't know yet.
So yes. That's all I've got to say about that.

I have fish. A while back I bought two new goldfish but my Pleco ended up EATING one of them. Actually they just got into a fight over this algae tab and the Pleco won, leaving the other goldfish wounded. I seperated it fromt he main tank for treatment, but it died a few days later. Poor thing :*(
Currently I have 3 fancy goldfish in 20-something gallons and nearly 30 guppies, a Pleco and an unknown Tetra in my 55gal. The guppies are still pretty young, but they are going to be full grown soon. I wont be able to afford to save all of the fry from each birthing because I have no more room for them. Survival of the fittest from now on, boys. gonk
My Pleco is pissing me off, but that's just because I can't take care of it properly. When I put algea tabs in for him, no matter if it is in the middle of the night, everyone wakes up just to eat his food. I've been leaving the curtains open in that room hoping some light will cause a bit of algea growth. It has a little, but the Pleco still seems hungry cause he is eating the vegetation in the aquarium as if he was at a salad bar. -_- I don't know what to do. I'm afraid he will murder another one of my fish if I'm not careful. SIGH.
Maybe I'll flush the b*****d.
