College of Wizardry and Magical Arts


Slowly he walked up the stairs to his new dormitory building, hoping that he would be rooming with someone nice, for the last time he had been in a dorm he was stolen from, locked out and even beaten once, but that was in the human world, he had yet to meet very many people here in this realm.


Leon was a human of 21, he had done his best in college and was already equipped, or almost equipped with a computer engineering degree, not only that but he was a welder too and had the certification to prove it. Leon was 6'5" easy and was semi muscular, not only did he do art but he practiced parkor in his spare time, making him agile and somewhat in shape but he still had a slight bit of laziness in him, then again, who didn't

He had been sent a letter one afternoon after a bad day of work, it was brought to him by a strange looking man in an golden pressed envelope and looked like the side of a bible it was so shiny with gold, as he opened it he looked inside to have the letter actually speak to him, out of shock he dropped it, causing the magic to die somewhat but it only said the name of an intersection of a street, somewhere that had been abandoned since the bombings of the last war.

Upon entering the area he could feel something strange in the air, as if he was being watched, but he looked around and no one was there, just as he stepped away he was approached by an old man in a robe, addressing him by his name, "Leon, you got my message it seems" they went on to talk of how he had been accepted into a school of magic, but Leon refused, thinking that the old man was insane and that this was all some sort of joke, he turned to leave but a wall of flames blocked his path, he stretched his hand inside the flames only for a moment, the oddly blue flames only letting a cool feeling into him, rather than burning the hair like he knew it should. That was when he knew the old man was not lying "You may not remember, but your ancestors used magic...before they were banished to this planet, let me explain" things went on from there and he accepted the invitation. He was to attend the College of magical arts in order to try and unlock hidden abilities long forgotten about from his ancestors times. Never before had he heard of magic nor even cast a spell, sure he wished he could and when alone maybe acted as if he was using the force(dont lie, you did it too) he never thought any of it could possibly be real! It was then he found out he would be travelling to an entirely different planet, that of which he would be the only human on the planet. He was warned of people who would look at him funny, would see him differently and maybe even pick on him , and with that he was also warned he should never reveal his true identity. You see, humans used to live on this planet, not earth of course but the planet of magic called Majora, they used to live in peace with the many other species of the world, Minotaur, mermaid harpies sirens you name it from tales of old and they were there. Not so much tales any longer though! Anyways the humans eventually became more destructive, gaining power on the planet and making other creatures into slaves and taking over the economy, one man though had a different idea. You know him as the grim reaper but he once was a human just like you and me, he sought to bring down the human race and make the world peaceful again. Despite his efforts no one listened, people called him crazy, a fool, and many other things, but there was one person watching. The first grim reaper, lived for a couple hundred thousand years before growing tired of his job, wanting to finally die they would pass the job off to some human or species they considered worthy, and this young man certainly did.

The man agreed to become the new reaper, bringing fear into the hearts of man, and the two together, the new and the old cast the human race away to a different planet where they could rot with each other, away from magic, their memories erased ready to start anew. Should they reform their ways someday they would be granted rights to come back to Majora.

The new reaper created rules for the earthlings, created a place called heaven and hell in order to keep the species on Majora and earth in line. though more severe punishment went to the earthlings.

But now, the new reaper had begun to see humans , or at least a fraction of a percentage of them beginning to find their own way, creating their own ways of living life and believing. Helping others and keeping to some sense of honor, even if it was just sometimes for the human race it was impressive. The reaper decided to give the new breed of humans a test, bringing a sole man to Majora....and Leon was it!


Leon, tired from his journey, set his things on the bed of his new dorm, sighing and unpacking, he had brought his tools, welder and even his small rock collection. all of which he treasured. after putting everything away he noticed his roommate had yet to show up, so he took off his shirt and laid back on his bed, noting how the room was so much bigger than it seemed for some strange reason, he did not understand magic and so hoped his roommate would guide him some.....if he wanted to that was
with a long sigh he looked at his schedule, a meeting for all new students at the Colosseum was tonight, at least he would get to know some people...he had met many already, made a few friends as he traveled from planet to planet to get to Majora, the one planet designed only for those seeking teachings of the magical arts. and through his thoughts he began to fall asleep, drifting off into the dreamy state that was sleep, waiting for his roommate to finally show up.



About the planet majora:

Majora is a planet built by the reaper to hold his college. The college is about the size of a large city and each section of the city had its specialty in magic such as healing, destruction, enchanting and much more. outside the city though was pure wilderness, beings and samples brought from other worlds for the students to go out and explore the ways things are.

to the north were the Mjorln mountains, freezing cold and negative temperatures meant few people made field trips to there unless they were studying ice giant fossils, but it served its purpose. South of the college was the exact opposite, volcanoes hotter than hell itself and fires that stretched for miles.

in between the two main structures of the planets was marshlands, forestry rivers and clearings. untouched nature ready to be explored. always changing and always beautiful


(on another note, there is a limit in technology. No technology before 1900, and no cars or telephones of any sort. Communication can be done by short range telepathy (kind of like walkie talkie) but only if one knows the spell, otherwise one sends a small flying note (also a spell but most people know it by the age they are in college). And everything runs on clean power, either mana or electricity


About Humans Past

Humans once lives peacefully among other creatures. Though eventually their greed and lust for power took over their simple minds, leading some to become corrupt and evil. Soon such affects spread across the human population and with that, humans began to enslave other species of humanoids. Using them in coal mines, raping women, horrible things that would make any true Nazi officer hide under his bed. The atrocities were unforgivable at the time, but this starter plays off of humans being a secret as to avoid conflict. Most of the newer generations have forgotten about the past and or no longer care and may or may not care if a human joins into the general population once more, however there are still those with long enough lifespans to remember such horrors, that or it has only been one or two generations and the memories are still strong.


As for the structures such as dormatories and bathrooms and classrooms and more.:
These all use an enlarging magic, making each room look like a janitors closet, but on the inside is a ballroom. That kind of thing, and if you want to includes the dorms. However, the bathroom for their dorm in non negotiable in this:
each dorms bathroom was about the size of a decent American living room with one door on the other side leading to their neighbors room it seemed quiet on the other side, perhaps because the neighbors had not found their room yet. It was much like a traditional roman (or japanese, they both have similar structures) bath house with grated tiles for flooring and a large pool like bath with warm waters that could be drained and refilled and was self cleaning to a point using mana as a power source. The other side was a long isle with four shower heads coming from the wall, quite large and had a high water pressure, letting it feel like a heavy rain as one washed themselves clean after relaxing in the bath. There was a large towel rack with a chute beside it that allowed cleaning of new towels, it seemed like luxury! The toilet was in an enclosed space, two of them much like stalls in a five star hotel but enclosed off so out of view from the tub.
