Continuing on from the "Journal description", this is also a place where I will make random stuff, and a place where I will show off my "artsy-fartsy" side. :XP:
Senseless Hating 2: This person really can't Read
MOOD: Surprisingly calm and apathetic.
CURRENTLY LISTENING TO: Fly me to the Moon - Evangelion OST

Some more complaints from several threads I'm a regular to. There was a particularly large argument between me and some girl in the thread who began to make personal accusations. She claimed that I had no experience at life, and that I had no traumatic moments.

I don't think I had any traumatic moments, but the very idea of a kid telling me about life experiences really got me fired up. Well, not enough to have me swearing all over the place. razz Then again, I don't swear a lot unless someone/something REALLY touches my nerves.

In response to Anonymous's rebuttal on the last page:
Here, let me point a few things out to you. I haven't noticed this before last night because I was tired, but all your responses that actually relate to the topic at hand are short one-liner responses that lack any proof at any given point. This clearly shows that you have been defeated in this debate.

Quote:
I'm not taking my chances here, you and Hanabi are clearly friends and I won't even flinch if she said exactly what you wanted her to say.

Yes. And one of the reasons why we're friends is because we can actually understand each other perfectly. You can't always be friends with someone you'll never understand. Which leads me back on track. Kagome's wide understanding of how the others felt about themselves is what brought them together in the first place. It was Kagome who offered her friendship to all of the Inu-Tachi. Inuyasha may have felt the same, but he was not the one who actually asked Shippou, Sango, and Miroku to come along with them.

As for him travelling with Kagome, he only did that in the first place because Kaede forced him to.

Even the coldest fact written on the toughest of stone can be viewed differently.

And that is very irrelevant. Facts written in hard, cold stone cannot be changed. Once something becomes a fact, there is only one opinion that stands with it. Viewing the coldest fact written in the toughest stone differently is passed on as a mis-understanding or lack of comprehension.

Quote:
You refuse to accept my dislike of Kagome based on the fact that she is physically weak . I won't stop until it gets across to you.

I refuse to accept your discontempt towards Kagome because it is invalid. You have not backed your thesis statement up with any information that comes straight from the anime/manga. Unfortunately for you, it's going to take you to the end of this world to try and cram it into my head. Your lack of evidence in Kagome's weakness is the major reason why I won't agree with you.

Quote:
It's not shallowness when all you see is a certain person's weakness. The only reason for this is because they have not shown enough of their strengths to the viewer. It does not mean they don't have any, they just haven't shown it.

Oh yes it is. A shallow person, by definition is one that does not have a wide range in observation. A shallow person is one that tends to lean on only one. A shallow person will not take the second half into consideration. All that defines you. And all that you've been telling me has been incredibly biased and disgustingly shallow.

Quote:
Of course you know what it's like to be jealous and in love. But you have no idea what it is to fight off those feelings.

This is a personal attack. As much as I do have a lot to say about this, I'm not going to say anything else past this. It's only going to upset everyone else in this thread. Pass.

Quote:
It's not me that brought up personal feelings. You said that Kagome was able to fight off jealousy and being in love, and you said that it's not an easy feat. I questioned your experiences with which you spoke from.

Oh gee, is that so? I don't think so. You were the one that pulled in the whole: "ZOMG!!! Do you know how it feels to hurt?" and the "You're so inexperienced that you'll never know pain, love, suffering... *bursts out laughing*" That sounded so stupid that I burst out laughing when I read that. You were getting personal, and I don't like it when people get personal in debates. It's not cool.

Quote:
Question your conscience when you read this over again. You understand he was suffering, and you understand how it feels to not experience love. But have you ever felt the exact same way as your father? Do you understand what it is that kept him alive during this time of hardship, would you have been able to pull through it all if it were you in the war and not your father? No? Then I suggest you stop talking. Your father's story is sad, all I can say is that my heart goes out to him. But in no way can I say I know exactly how he feels, because I don't, and I won't insult him by saying so.

Getting more personal here... but I was the one that brought this up, so it's partially my fault. The only thing I can say is that you just contradicted yourself here. You said that your heart goes out to him, but at the same time you don't know exactly how he feels. If your "heart goes out to him" then you should understand him perfectly.

Ha! I don't need a conscious check here. What really is needed here is a vamp on reading skills, and that comes from your part. I did not say that I understood my father. I said that my MOTHER was the one who understood him. All it takes to understand someone is not by how many traumatic experiences the person went through, but through love. By loving my father, mother is the one that understands him the most in our whole family, more so than even my grandparents. My father even told her that himself.

Quote:
You amuse me, how can you understand anything when you have never experienced anything? How can you understand math if you had never come across and experience it before? Simple as that. Your ignorance on this topic is clearly brought upon from the fact that you have never been through anything traumaticing in your lifetime. When you have, you'll know that just being able to "understand" doesn't even cut it. There is waay more to it than being able to "understand". It is extremely unfortunate for you to think that just by saying "I know how you feel" you can change something or make a traumaticed person feel better. It is extremely upsetting for that person to hear such words, because how in the world would anybody truely understand what that person is going through. It is a very shallow understanding at best.

Math and life experience are two different things on different ends of the world. Once more, you've proven that your IQ isn't very high by comparing things that cannot be compared. Again, it's the whole "you haven't been to a traumatic life-style" and more personal attacks. I repeat myself, YOU. DON'T. KNOW. ME. So why don't you cut the crap? You're making yourself sound more like a moron by trying to judge someone you've never even met. rolleyes

Quote:
What you have said is the stupidest thing anyone would want to listen to. People who have experienced trauma, learn from the actions they take right after said trauma ie: Sango wanted to kill herself when she found out Kohaku was brainwashed. They learn from the mistakes they make after their experience and make better choices and coursesof actions so that history will not repeat itself and plunge them into even deeper despair. You've obviously not surpressed any feelings of despair yourself either. Forgive me for judging you, but it is deserved.

Wow. You really dug a hole for yourself. Just so you know, the "shallow-minded, inexperienced person" you're debating with is actually an emotion repressor herself. Since you're soo obsessed with "experience", let me tell you this kiddo, I have a lot of experience in that department, trust me.

Quote:
You cannot blame him for surpressing his feelings, because he thinks nobody cares, nobody understands and eveybody will judge him if he expressed his feelings.

This eventually helps him earn the "Kongousouha", and by earning Kongousouha, Inuyasha becomes stronger.

I don't blame him, you moron. Go back through my posts and read them carefully. Not once did I blame anything about Inuyasha's inability to express himself.

This is not something you said. I suggest you go back and fix it.

Quote:
Being able to forget past pain and live a life of bright future as if nothing happened in the past is an extremely hard task, many would not be able to do it.

This has nothing to do with my point. More ignorance and miscalculation proven for your part. There is no such thing as "impossible" psychology-wise. It may be hard and it may take years, but most of the people I've known have actually managed to pull away from most of their anxiety and depression by going through therapy.

Quote:
All of these things and more is the experiences Kagome will never face up to. It has made the rest of the group become stronger than Kagome will ever be.

Huzzah! More senseless crap I can chomp at! Naraku's main ability comes from how clever and tricky he is. He stated himself that he liked to mess around with other people's minds. He makes attempts to mess around with Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, Kohaku, Kikyou, Kagura, Kagome, and even Sesshoumaru. Out of all of them, the only person who actually smashed Naraku's trickery back in his face with full force was Kagome. And she did it several times.

Naraku actually fears Kagome more than he fears Kikyou. Unlike Kikyou, Kagome is not someone who would let Naraku mess around with her mind. And the only female who actually decimated Naraku into a thousand pieces was not Sango nor was it Kikyou. It was Kagome. FYI, Kagome blasted Naraku to pieces WITHOUT the help of the Inu Tachi. She came to Naraku palace with Miroku and Inuyasha. She saw how Sango was suffering and that pissed her off. The next thing Naraku knew, a purity arrow was flying straight at him. Lo and behold! It tore off all of Naraku's body except for his head and weakened him terribly.

The main reason why Naraku is afraid of Kagome is because he realizes that he can't play tricks on her. Naraku is a big coward, which is why he uses his head more.

I can tell that you haven't read the latest chapters nor have you seen the later half of the anime that's out at the moment. Naraku is not after Kagome, he is going after Kikyou. Naraku tends to choose someone who is emotionally weak because they are easier for him to work with. Had Kagome been the true weakling, I'm very certain Naraku would have been on her tail.

Quote:
This changes nothing. If one as young as Kohaku is able to resist Naraku's mind controll, then Kagome's being able to is no big surprise or accomplishment.

I suggest you get yourself some hearing aid, a nice pair of glasses, and a brain while you're at it. Kohaku barely managed to break out of Naraku's control after 300+ chapters. Kagome broke out of it in ONE episode. There is a huge difference here.

Quote:
If you're trying to impress something of major importance here, it is not working. So what if Kikyou has a fragment of Kagome's soul? So what if without it she would cease to exist? Kagome's Kikyou's reincarnation, it only makes sense that Kikyou needs a part of Kagome to survive. What's the big deal?

I believe I've already made an impression here. You actually agreed to what I said, but that tiny brain of yours found it rather difficult to process. Without Kagome's soul Kikyou is goners. Kagome can take back the small bit of her soul if she wanted to. This makes Kikyou at a heavy disadvantage with Kagome. The big deal here is that Kikyou is weaker than Kagome in that she has to use someone else's soul in order to revive her memories and to fuel her powers. Yet, you claimed Kagome was the weakest. Kagome doesn't need to use the souls of freshly dead woman to move her body. There's a "physical" advantage Kagome has over Kikyou.

Quote:
No thanks, I like my sanity to remain the way it is.

I don't think so. You didn't seem very sane when you were bitching and moaning about my personal experiences. rolleyes

Quote:
No, most of the time, you pro-Kagome fans attack people who are anti-Kagome by saying things like "Anti-Kagome fans are ignorant n00bs and we should ignore them" and things as such. The majority of you don't accept the dislike of Kagome.

... And here's another! Just so you know, flaming is against the Gaian ToS. Ignoring n00bs are the best things to do. In addition to that, I don't like n00bs at all, hence all of my friends here on Gaia are people who don't fall into that category. My point here is that I have several friends on Gaia who do not like Kagome at all. In fact, they don't like Inuyasha at all.

Do you have any idea how big of a community Gaiaonline is? There are millions of people from different parts of the world that log on everyday. In short, there are plenty of people who do accept anti-Kagome fans. Besides, the person that gets more hating is not Kikyou, but Kagome herself.

Most of the comments that come in here are immature: "ZOMG!!!!11111one! KOGOMAE IZZ DA BEYOTCH!!!!!!1111111 SHEZ AN URLY SLUT WHO WEARZZZS SHURT SKORTZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111 *inserts excessive amounts of "scream" emoticons here". It is natural of us to ignore the n00b and not accept their comments. As I've mentioned before, this is a pro-Kagome thread. It's a place where Kagome fans come and talk good things about her.

I don't attack anti-Kagome fans. Have you ever seen me in an anti-Kagome thead or guild yelling at them for not liking her? No. I don't think you have.

Quote:
Whoever this Kanshou person is is not going to scare me away, as long as there is something in here that I find worthy to argue against I will. I don't back away from debates.

You've got some guts, kid. There is nothing worthy from your part of the debate. Most of the time, you're just going to attack the person with personal issues, which have little or nothing to do with the topic-matter at hand. Due to the fact that you seem so eager to meet Kanshou-Kun with your lack of knowledge of Inuyasha altogether, I wish you luck.
