Rushing,running even,
She is excited; her mother has words for her,
And she is anxious to hear them.
She does not stop to talk to her passing friends,
For she is almost there,
Filled with joy of the wonderous day,
She reaches the door,
Walks in a fast movement,
Drops the schoolbag she was holding,
then races to her mothers room.
She is upset,
Worry is written all over her face,
She is scared of something, but does not say what.
Words pop into the girls head,
Mother is stalling.
The words start to flow out of her mothers mouth,
Its to much,
Everything has been going so fast.
Its unbearable.
But she must stay strong,
Strong for mom.
These words,
Truth?
The arguments
the pieces of life that made no sense?
Were now perfectly clear.
Streams of tears rolled down her eyes, nothing but tears.
They were not tears of anger, but sadness,
For the lost love one she never knew,
No words of hate or eruption of emotion,
Just silence...
And to the one she knew as father,
Well,
Her view of him will be forever changed.
