An Angel's Sonnet #1

Death, oh Death how your name rings about me,
Just like the night sky above me shimmers,
You think you are something for us to see.
But my love will burn you into cinders.
Yet the sound of your name makes me helpless,
And Night, my darling, precious, loving Night,
What about his love? But Death's hand carress,
But he promises to not lose the fight.
And in my most desperate time of need,
An angel's wings appear to shield us now,
His love for me takes the sight of my heed,
Then into the light we fly. But just how?
Death now curses as he throws about things,
Knowing he was beaten by angel wings.
