I sighed and stretched, puching the book across the table with the others.
"Done already?" ANITE asked.
I turned and looked at the large display screen, ANTIE's face huge in that wonderful shade of bright green. "There is only so much I can take in at a time." I said, matter of factly.
Standing, I strtetched, and looked over at my pets.
"I think it's time I get going." I said to ANTIE and to my pets.
Niko stood, and the rest seemed happy to stay put.
"Do you think that it is wise to reintegrate into Gaia this soon?" ANTIE asked.
I laughed.
"C'mon, ANITE. There isn't much more I can do here, right now. And time is still passing in the rest of Gaia."
The computer agreed silently, nodding her digital head. I looked over at Kipper, Olay! and Tuft, who looked planted in the pet tower. ANTIE followed my gaze.
"I do need to run them through some tactical training programs to test and strengthen their powers if they are to be good gaurd animals." ANTIE stated.
The pets all looked over at ANTIE, and I laughed.
"You guys have fun then." I said, and Niko and I headed to the spiral staircase.
"You are going out with those?" ANTIE asked. I was hoping she hadn't... noticed.
"Yes." I said, stopping but still facing away from the screen.
The silence that followed my answer was more than I could bare. "I'll be fine." I said. "They were my mother's, and they have great defensive power."
"You know that some people will know what that means." ANTIE stated.
I nodded.
"Good luck." ANTIE said, and I smiled, heading upstairs. Reflections of inner light sparkled on the walls of the stairwell from the golden laurels on my head.

A few minutes later, I was on my way to Barton Town. I wasn't sure of my exact destination... I wanted to see Koopa, and definately Chazu... but I didn't want to go to the WTGR, where I am afraid I may have done some huge damage. And then there was Dragon. I wanted to go talk to her - there was so much to talk about!- and yet, I didn't know what to say after our huge fight. Niko smiled over my back at me as we flew in the general direction of Chazu's house.
