Chapter 1, Part 1: Nara

Nara went to an elementary school called Plain Elementary School. The diclonius is in fourth grade and has short light pink hair. She wears two ribbons on her head even though it covered up her Diclonius horns. Nara has had them ever since she was born and she liked them. She never found out who her parents were, but maybe she would find out sometime. The Diclonius was a little cold, quiet and would not ever warm up to anyone. Nara did not like the sight of blood, she saw it when she was four years old. However, she barely remembers what happened.

Everyday Nara would sit in a corner, but children did not laugh at her. The other children in the classroom would just stare at her, some could be concerned or some could have other thoughts. Only a couple people teased her, but that was in the hallway. The teacher would check up on Nara every once in awhile. Nara just stared at the clock, hoping time would go buy faster. The bell rang and everyone walked out, but Nara was always the last. "Hey Nara, come on!," a little girl yelled and she ran through the door way. Nara was a little surprised, but she slowly walked out, but she tripped and fell on her stomach right when she got to the door, "Oomph!" The girl looked down at her and next to that girl was another girl, but more people started coming, "Hey Nara? Why don't you watch your step next time?" The other girls laughed at Nara, but Nara just stayed on the ground. They all started to leave, but saying different opinion loudly:

"Teehee, she acts tough, but really, she is just a empty shell!" One girl said.

"You did great!" Another girl laughed.

"She didn't even know what was coming, great job," from another.

Nara slowly stood up, but she ignored them, or at least, she tried to.

Another girl came up to Nara and looked at her, "Umm....," Nara glared deeply in the girl's eyes and headed towards her.
