Chapter 1, Part 2: Nara

Nara glared at the girl with her crimson red eyes and she frightened her.

The girl started to shake in her light pink dress. Her legs were together and she was carrying a blue lunch box with a cute little animal on it, but she was so confused, she didn't know what she did wrong. Then she quickly blurted out, "CAN YOU WALK WITH ME, PLEASE?!"

The diclonius stopped and was surprised. Nara saw the girl was really scared like she was almost about to cry and she also realized that the blue shining in her eyes, that was like crystal, was a sign that the girl meant what she said. She shook her head and continued to walk past the dark blonde haired girl.

"Don't say stupid things like that...." Nara could not be too careful, so she walk past the girl.

The girl grabbed Nara's white short sleeved shirt and she tugged on it a little bit and Nara stopped, the little girl continued, "I'm sorry.... I didn't state that right.... May you walk with me, please?" She smiled.

Nara slowly turned around, ".... I don't know...."

The other girl frowned.

Then Nara continued, "But.... Aren't you with them?" She pointed at the group of girls who were still laughing and walking away.

She looked in that direction, "Them? I don't talk to them.... They treat me like a bad person and I'm don't like being treated that way...."

Nara looked at her and gave a little smile to the girl that was saying something like: "I know exactly what you mean...." Her eyes had sadness in them. As if rain putting out a small flame of happiness, but the flame of hope began to grow brighter. Nara smiled even more, "I'll walk with you.... Thank you."

The girl smiled and she began to walk with Nara.

Nara realized that there were people around, namely, other girls who were part of the group who tripped her, but she did not care. She continued to walk.

They lurked in the shadow and the other group was ahead of Nara and her new friend. There was another group of girls and one boy who seemed to be always forced to go with them, his name was Naoko. He had dark brown hair had a white long-sleeved shirt on with khaki pants on and tennis shoes. The girls started to laugh at Nara, who they called, 'horned demon,' and Naoko stood there silently watching Nara and her new friend walk away from what he would call, 'the girls who are annoying.' He was thinking in his mind, but it came out of his mouth quietly, "She seems like she is nice...." Of course, all of the girls heard that and looked at him immediatly, but he didn't realize because he was still looking at Nara. He realized something else, "She has horns?!" he thought, but it came out of his mouth a little loud, then louder, "THAT'S COOL!" Then he looked at the girls by him, although, they were glaring at him.

One girl tried to point out to him, "Yeah, they're called 'devil horns,' why are you so interessted? You're with us!" Then she looked at the other girls, "Come on, lets follow them!"

Naoko was not going to go along, but another girl dragged him anyway.
