Another closing today, and more to pay by the end of the week. It doesn't matter how much money you make, though - it's all about how you live. People still think it is all about the fancy clothes and cars, the shiny jewelry, and the fine restaurants. All of those things are nice, but they are temporary. They go.
My largest expense last month was not related to anything I wear. It was all about the memories, about the pictures, about the laughter, about the movies, about the late mornings and coffee, about the games played, about the experience and teachings.
It's all worth it. As long as it makes you happy, truly and genuinely happy, it will always be worth it.
Happiness will never be the Submariner you wear or the California T you drive. Ever.
I don't do it for the money. Time is far more valuable. I want freedom, so today I work hard, and tomorrow I have enough time for them. It's been working exactly like that so far... and I'm working hard to that it continues to pay off and I can spend more and more time with them.
Money is temporary. The happiness of my family is permanent.
