i was talking to a very good friend earlier and i just started thinking about something that happened a very long time ago *looks down* i need to get old mermoorys out of my head or ill be stuck with them forever sad i dont want to live with these anymore i need help i think my parents are right i need therapy bad

Therapy teaches you to accept these feelings instead of ignoring them. It takes awhile, but in time you'll be able to embrace the painful thoughts and feel good about what you've learned. It's very liberating, I'm still experiencing this process myself.
