In modern day London, beneath the eyes of thoes that are mortal, lies the existance of what some choose to call themselves 'night walkers'. In a loss for better words, these 'night walkers' are better known modernly as vampires. Though their existance till this point has been nothing more than a mere myth told to scare children. Though it seems that most have forgotten the days when people would disappear without a trace, and young daughters would randomly run away......
During the olden times, women were easily seduced and taken into a trance by the sly acts of the vampires. They would easily be taken captive by their spell, and taken away to a place where the 'night walkers' could feed in peace. In session, the vampires could either choose to kill the ones they feed apon, or grant them eternal life. The same goes for modern times. The vampires of today aren't too much different from their ancestors of long ago.
The vampires of today still don't have that capability to walk amogst the living, but their lives start when the sun goes down. Within large clubs, and bars that exist around the globe, the vampires carefully choose their pray, and hold their cover as well. They musn't let out their secret existance, the secret know threatens their race. Now they live in a time of no desperation, their race far from extinction.

Personality: Kaiaka has a tendency to be extremely hard headed at times, her self determination getting the better of her. She can't help but feel like she has to defend herself almost all the time. She never really had anyone else to lean on other than herself. Kaiaka can't help but push people away, never trusting, never accepting the hand of others. Her mind is usually set, and mostly nothing can change her veiw. Her attitude only changes when someone seems to be flirtatious around her. She has never been to well with either her own sex, or the other. She becomes extremely shy and sheepish.
Other: Since Kaiaka was five, she has been alone. After her fathers death, her mother couldn't sustain herself and found refuge in many boyfriends. After only a year of her fathers death, her mother re-married to an achoholic that decided that he didn't want to take care of Kaiaka, so her mother decided that as well. They dropped Kaiaka off at an adoption center, and when Kaiaka turned 15 she was adopted by a distant relitive that she knew nothing about. She hadn't even heard about him till that point in time.
She has now been living with him for a year, seeing him come home late at night, never speaking about where he went during the day. In truth, her father works with a corporation that holds the secrets dealing with Vampires. They are observers of the progress in the advancement of the vampires race.
