I don't know what to do with myself today.
I have many things on my to-do list and I continually want to do exactly zero of them. I know they need to get done.
I really wish I was one of those people who just got things done and out of the way. The reality is that the to-do list grows, and I worry that I'd never get it "out of the way" because more stuff would just pile on.
There is a saying that if you want something done, you should give it to a busy person. I hate this saying and the sentiment behind it. People who work hard just seem to get rewarded with more work to do. This gives me very little incentive to actually try to be a person like that.
I feel bad for those busy people. Like, when do they get to take a break? When do they get down time?
This world has a real work-life balance problem. My particular issue feels upside down from most people, but I don't want to trade my problems for theirs either, lol.
