I’ve been busy here; school is starting back up next week on the sixteenth. And I’ve kinda strayed away from the original storyline so it makes so much more sense than before. I’ve also slacked off =_=….I said I would upload like yesterday but my sister couldn’t get into her gaian account and completely freaked out for the past two days.
I’m excited to see everyone again but in a way I’m pissed off because it seems like my summer past right through…
I also want to thank all my readers for staying this far with me. To tell you the truth I wasn’t actually expecting my story to get this far, that’s why I didn’t upload the tenth or eleventh. But I’ve been cheered on, so Kagome-chan must work hard, nee ?
Oh, one thank you I’d like to tell one person…Anime-chan ((=-=animes_wuver=-= ))arigato gozaimasu ta!!! This person is exceptionally sweet. She drew me fan art! ~sniffle~ I feel like I like I’m a real writer of something. I’m honored! I will post the pic at the end of this chapter, If you see her around I’d like you to tell her thank you very much because she’s a very sweet person!
Another person I’d like to thank, Imaru-chan ((Sakura_Girl101))! I didn’t thank you for what you’ve done =^^=. You started writing and were inspired by my story and asked me to help you with yours every now and than. It’s an honor as a fellow writer and friend to help you and for thinking that! I feel…like I ish important…~sniffle~. Oh, and for those who don’t know these two they deserve some real acknowledgement!
One last person is one of my other best friends, Akira-chan ((AkiraFujita))=^-^= you mean so much to me as a person and rp buddy. You and I are alike, and you’re also a writer! If you see him around talk to him for me because he’s really sweet and funny, just like anime-chan and imaru-chan! =^^=
Also, I might not be on as much because I’ll be really caught up in school. But Kami-sama but even help me out and let me get online despite an extremely busy schedule 3nodding , so in return I’ll upload as much as I can even if I can’t be on Gaia for long! After all, Gaia is my home away from home =^-^=.
Anyway since I’ve completely stalled you for this long, I think I’ll start it. So without any further interruption, I give you the extremely stalled tenth chapter of Sakura pt. 2!

A new character appears! Enter Fuma Takashima!
Yuna gasped at the sight of the man in front of her. “Fuma nii-chan?!!” she asked shocked. Yuji looked at Yuna, then at Fuma. “Fuma nii-chan,” ((Nii-chan is a more childish way of saying “Older brother” So when she’s referring to him she’s basically calling him her older brother; While “Aniki” is for a more older/tougher term.)) “Onii-chan, you mean he’s your-?” Yuji asked looking closely at the man. He looked at least five years older than her. With dark hair and dark eyes filled with hate and confusion that seemed directed at him. He had a soaked hat clenched in his fists angrily as he looked at Yuna.
“Well, Yuna. Looks like you remember me after all this time. But it feels to me-it feels like I don’t know you at all. Who is this punk here and why is he with you?! What happened when I was away?” he demanded obviously wanted an explanation. Yuna flared up. “Since when do you care about how I am Fuma nii-chan?” she asked coldly.
Both of the guys were startled at her tone and the look in her eyes. But Fuma tried to ignore it with an equally cold smirk. “And since when do I find guys over at the estate, Yuna-Chan?”
“Why the hell would it matter to you-of all people, bakamono!” she screamed at him angrily. Her eyes were starting to burn at the memory. “You left so many years ago, leaving me here…with no one! You’re just like Yuuri- selfish and ungrateful!”
“Y-Yuna…” he started reaching out to her.
“Don’t ‘Yuna’ me, Fuma nii-chan! I’m not a little kid anymore! And Yuji is no punk! I’ve known Yuji for over ten years now- and even after I moved to Ushiama until a few years ago he still remained a great friend to me!” she yelled at him.
“How come you never told me about him; does family mean nothing to you, Yuna?!” he yelled back. “Urusai ((Urusai is Japanese for “Shut Up” or “Stop Bothering me!”)) Fuma!” she screamed at him. “You haven’t been home in years, how could you have known about him?! And I told you about Yuji, Fuma nii-chan you probably dismissed it from your mind like it was nothing! Did- did I mean that little to you?!” she cried, tears fell onto the wood flooring. “Do you know how it feels like to grow up alone?! It can mess with your thoughts, confuse you…and land you in the hospital.” She said looking down at her right wrist that was bandaged up. She un-wrapped her wrist and Yuji looked in horror at it. There were scars of gashes big and small covering her it and along with a small part of her arm. She showed it to Fuma who paled at it.
“Y-Yuna- don’t tell me you-“Fuma started but was cut off by Yuji grabbing it roughly and looking at her. ”You slit your wrists, Yuna?!” She nodded sadly, “That’s right. I did it numerous times. But one day I cut my wrist too deeply, and I awoke in the hospital three days later because of the amount of blood loss and emotional damage.” She answered as more tears stained her cheeks. “Maybe…if I died that day, no one would worry so much about me…and maybe I-“
“Y-Yuna…” Yuji said touching her shoulder. “I don’t exactly know or understand what happened between you two, but that doesn’t mean you can just barge in here and make Yuna cry or make her do this to herself, Fuma!” he told him angrily. “You can’t Yuna’s brother- the one she talked so highly of and looked up to before and now-“”Stop it, Yuji. People change, you can’t ignore that. Fuma nii-chan has been away from the Takashima estate since I was very little. Since Father kept ‘borrowing’ him for business.” She smiled sadly, “Father always spoke so highly of him, saying he was a child prodigy. That he was the heir of the family. But he’d always call me a menace, a burden; a nuisance that demanded attention like some spoiled brat. And Mother never really had time to spend with me since she was a well-known and incredibly skilled doctor that would travel from city to city, sometimes even from different regions. But because of it…one day I heard that she had run into some men who cornered her in an alley in a city far from here when she tried to save a little girl who had gotten lost. The autopsy revealed that she’d been stabbed numerous times and bled to death. A note was found she where her body was saying she was sorry she wasn’t a very good mother to all of us- and that the little girl she saved reminded her of me- frail and lost. And that it was probably best that she died trying to save the child than valuing her own life and living on with such guilt wallowing deep inside her heart.
“S-So, you’re mother and father…they-” Yuji said obviously horrified at this point. “Yes, my mother is dead, and my father basically thinks I’m dead to him because of my worthlessness and doesn’t even bother coming home. I think he bought a house in Ushiama, and Yuuri- I haven’t seen her. She left when Mom disappeared…but that was probably when I was eight or nine, maybe even ten.”
“Yuna, you’ve been living alone this whole time?! But why didn’t you contact me or father?!” Fuma demanded. He was just as horrified as him. “I did, Fuma! I truly did. I asked Father when Mother died if I could come live with him and you. But he refused. He told me I would only be a burden and he didn’t need me until I was old enough to marry. But he still sent me money so I could survive…and pay the bills for the estate.”
“What kind of man- is your father?!” Yuji demanded clenching his fists, “How could he tell his daughter she was useless and that she’d only be a burden?! So you’ve been living alone for almost a decade?!”
“If you think about it, it’s not all that bad, Yuji,” She lied trying to smile “I’m still alive. Meaning that I still have a purpose in this world, if I didn’t then I wouldn’t be alive. Kami-sama would’ve ended it long ago.”
“Yuna…I’m so sorry…that Father would say that to you. He’s a horrible man, our father. Because Yuuri most likely abandoned the family she’s the heiress of it. And since his boss’s son is about the same age as you and Yuna, he probably wants her to move out of the estate when she’s eighteen to leave to Ushiama so she can become engaged with the boy. You’ve met him before, haven’t you, Yuna?” Fuma asked walking over to her. She nodded “Yes, I was hoping that I’d never meet Yuji again…because I knew this would happen. I knew I’d fall in love with you, Yuji. And that I’d come to the conclusion that I’d refuse the engagement to him.”
“Yuna, please tell me- who’s this guy you’re supposed to be engaged to.” Yuji begged feeling his heart slowly sinking deeper into darkness. “It’s-Seishin, Subaru.” She answered.
He felt his heart stop when she said his name “S-Subaru?” he asked in horror. “Yuji, are you okay?” she asked him. “Why him, not that traitor…” he said pulling away. “W-What? What are you talking about, Yuji?”
“I met him not long after I met up with you, Yuna.” he said thinking back to that day.
~Flashback~
Yuji was standing in the Sakura tree forest, and stood in front of the Great Tree; smiling at it. “It’s said that if you stand under the cherry blossoms long enough you’ll go insane,” Called a smug voice from behind him.
He turned to see a boy with bright green eyes and brown hair, wearing the same Meio uniform as him, “Oh, you’re from Meio? I’m Valentine Yuji. I’m transferring soon.” He said with an outstretched hand. The boy took it, “Seishin Subaru. Nice to meet you.” He told him.
“So, you’re new huh?” he asked after a breeze rolled by. “Yea, is it tough?” Yuji asked with a smirk. “Meh, it’s alright for one of the top schools here in Blue Sky.” Subaru answered. “I guess, it doesn’t really matter to me. I just heard that a certain girl I know goes there.”
“Oh, she your girl or something, Yuji-san,” Subaru asked with a smirk. Yuji felt his cheeks grow hot. “I-It-‘s not like that, Subaru!” he said looking down, “We’re only friends…at least I think we just are.”
“Oh, and what makes you say that? She didn’t return for your feelings or something?” he asked confused. “Well- I made a promise with her that- I’d marry her.”
“Really, you proposed? And what did she say?” he asked interested. “Well, surprisingly she said yes,” he said sheepishly. “You lucky dog, congrats.” Subaru said with a smirk. “But that’s not the problem,” Yuji said looking down. “I doubt she’ll remember it now. I only heard that she moved back here a few years ago…”
Subaru put a hand on his shoulder with a grin. “Just have a little faith, alright? You haven’t seen her for awhile, so she won’t recall that right away. Just jog her memory a little and she’s bound to remember.” Yuji grinned, “Thanks, Seishin.”
“So, who’s the lucky girl?” Subaru asked after a long pause.
“I don’t really know her name, since we were childhood friends. But her nickname was Yuu.” He answered looking at him. “I guess it was pretty dumb of me to let her leave without finding out her real name huh? Err- Seishin. What’s with the look?” he asked when Subaru looked somewhat shocked. But he snapped out of it with a grin “It’s nothing, really. So, was she a cute girl when you two were little?”
“Oh yea, probably the cutest; which I still don’t understand why anyone would bully her. Maybe out of jealous…” Yuji’s voice trailed off when Subaru heard that, ‘Which I don’t understand why anyone would bully her…’ kept playing back. ‘He can’t be talking about…her is he?’
“Yuji-san, you sure you don’t know your girl’s name?” he asked concerned. Yuji looked at him strangely. “Hadn’t you been listening to me at all? Her nickname was Yuu. But I think someone called her Yuki or something…” He mumbled. “Yuna,” Subaru said under his breath. “What? Oh yea, that’s it Yuna! You know her?”
Subaru grew serious. “Yea I know her. She’s- a special person to me.” Yuji wasn’t getting it. “Oh, that’s good. I’m glad she isn’t bullied anymore. So how is she? Has she mentioned anything about me?” he asked him in an excited tone.
Subaru went through his memories again ‘Subaru-kun, have you- ever had any memories of someone of something you know you have but you can’t remember?’ she asked him one day under a sakura tree. ‘Well yea, of course. Everyone tends to forget something like that at least once in their lives, why?’ ‘Well…I think when I was little I had a friend who was very dear to me. I was bullied when I was little and he saved me. And I feel really bad that I forgot him.’ ‘Don’t worry about it, I’m sure the memory will come back to you sooner or later.’ ‘If you say so…’
“Seishin, are you there? Hello? Did she say anything about me lately?” Yuji asked again waving a hand in front of him. “O-Only once. But she doesn’t remember you. She seemed upset about something. So maybe it’s best if you leave her alone. Maybe some memories are to be left forgotten.” He told him with almost a glare. “What are you talking about? Have these sakura blossoms really gotten to your head? No memory should be forgotten-“
“It’s for her own good- And yours.” He told him fiercely. “What- what are you getting at?” Yuji asked confused at this point but feeling that Subaru was serious. Subaru closed his eyes and smirked almost sadly. “It’s a shame, Yuji-san. I was hoping we could be friends since we’d go to the same academy. But I guess we can’t, can we?” he opened his eyes. “My father told me that Takashima Yuna would become my fiancée when she and I would be of age. And since you also said you are to marry her I guess that makes us rivals, doesn’t it?”
Yuji looked at him fiercely. “Look, Seishin. If you want to be my enemy so be it. But don’t drag Yuna into this.” He said starting to walk away. “Oh but Yuna’s the conflict here, Yuji-san. We’re to be rivals over her affection, since we both have feelings for her.” Subaru explained. “So how about it, do you accept me as your rival?”
Yuji smirked “Never really though about having a rival. But fine.” He said, his blue eyes burning with anxiety. “Alright, then Yuji-san it looks like from this day on we’re rivals over the beautiful Yuna’s affections.”
End of Flashback
“We aren’t exactly in good terms with each other.” He told her quietly. “But why, I don’t understand why you hated or disliked each other before I told him about you! Did something happen between you two?” she asked confusion and concern in her voice. Fuma closed his eyes. “Yuna, it’s not that they dislike each other. It’s rivalry, something bigger than hate and dislike. It’s a big thing, not something you can interfere with.” He told her calmly. She looked down. “So- will it always be like that between you two? Couldn’t you become friends?”
“In a sick way Seishin and I are friends. But because something we both want and care about stands between us, we can’t just forget it.” Yuji tried to explain. Yuna bit her lip. Yuji smiled. “But it’s nothing too serious, Yuna. Calm down.” He told her, putting a hand on her shoulder. She looked at him doubtfully then smiled back. “Mm,”
Fuma sighed, “Looks like my little sister’s grown up, huh?” he moved his way over to her and hugged her. “If mother was here I’m sure she’d be proud.” He whispered to her. Tears welted up in her eyes but she pushed them away with a grin. “But she is, Fuma. In out hearts and minds.” She said pointing to his heart. “Yuna I love you with all my heart. And now that I’m here you won’t have to be alone anymore.” Fuma told her. She smiled. “Arigato, Fuma nii-chan. But I’m not alone- I have you and Yuji. Along with all my friends and Mother watching over us,” Yuna told him. But Yuji suddenly pulled her out of his arms. “What- Yuji? What are you-“
Yuji spoke with fierce eyes and tone. “I don’t know why I didn’t notice it before- probably because of the rain- but how come you have a different scent then Yuna’s, Fuma?” he asked. Fuma looked at him strangely. “Because I’m not her, why so suspicious of how I smell?” he asked him. “You know what I mean Fuma. Siblings have similar scents to each other. But your scents don’t match. So what’s the story behind it?” Yuji asked again.
Fuma sighed and looked down with a smirk. “Looks like we have a dog in the house; does it matter to you about our family?” “He’s right, Yuji. So he has a different smell than me, why does it matter?” Yuna asked alarmed by this. “Because Yuna,” Yuji said softly, “He’s not your brother.”
