I received confirmation from Nissa shortly after transferring her the data about Rose that Rose had set off an EMP device over at Chazu's house. He seemed to be missing, which is not unusual. However, just in case, I kept a line of communication open for him, just in case I could be of assistance. I also sent ANTIE-bot over to the house for possible damage control and repair.
But a few minutes later, I recevied, via my uplink with Nissa the visual on Rose over at Dragon's house. Confirming my previous diagnosis, her forehead jewel was still red, and she did not seem herself. Nissa's uplink informed me of the need to create a safety barrier between us, and confirmed the most current uplink of her software into backup in my databases. I watched as Rose created a black and blue energy sphere, which I unfortunately recognized. I sent Nissa a warning about the electrical blast approaching, but as soon as I did, my connection with her suddenly ended.
I immediatly tried secondary uplink protocols, and found them damaged as well.
I worked on repairing the pathways and re-establishing communication with Nissa. Try as I might, though, I could not get through.
And I sorely needed to let her, Dragon, Chazu, and everyone else of portent know what I realized. That electric attack Rose just used was the same one I had seen Luman use quite some time back. Somehow, he had gotten to Rose.
