I love the movie Rent. I really wish I could see it on the stage, but sadly it costs lots of money, and we only had enough for one show, and we saw Wicked. Don't get me wrong, it was amazing, and I want to see it again! But Rent has great songs and characters that are more realistic. My friend's sister-in-law had seen Rent with the original broadway cast in 1995. She had purchesed a t-shirt there and now is just going to give it away! I wanted it, but we aren't related, so my friend got first dibs. oh well. I'll just have to be happy with the movie and soundtrack.
