Dihnoro's diary
This is a journal about his earlier life and personal notes (very detailed)
The Second Summoning
After getting the first clue from the Goddess of Light( it's not only flowers that come from the ground..), Dihnoro felt ready enough today to find the next God. After the discussion with a friend, he was pretty sure the summon he should be looking for would be the earth god, as the riddle was pretty easy and narrowed it down to only one solution, him. As he walked down the path leading from the demonic cage, a voice whispered through the trees. The voice was perculiar, but one Dihnoro felt he could trust. He made his way inside the wide forest, and was greeted further in by the earth god, Dracten. " Hello there Dihnoro," he bellowed, standing in a clearing where none could see the two's existence. " To earn the right to summon me, you have to defeat me in a battle, no magic allowed. You up for it?" he questioned. Dihnoro face was at first confused, but as soon as he took in all the information he nodded towards his god and took his place opposite him, getting his needles out ready. The fight had started before Dihnoro knew it, as the earth god came charging at him, fists clenched and a raging look on his face. Thinking fast, Dihnoro spread out his wings and took to the air, the first time he had been in a fight outside and flew. The needles followed his moves, right next to him and ready to be launched. But first, Dihnoro got out two infront of him, and animated one wind and one light. He sent them homing in on the god, too dis-oriented to know what was happening. The wind one got to him first, whizzing around his head and distracting the big guy, while as the second headed for him he was unable to react, as the wind needle was spinning around his eyes so he couldn't see. The light one came crashing into Dracten, exploding on contact and knocking the god to the ground. Dihnoro now saw his chance, and dived down towards the battle grounds, ready to launch more of his weapons at his god. " Those things are such pests!" Dracten remarked, leaping to his feet, getting readied in his fighting stance. As Dihnoro wasn't planning on Dracten getting up so fast, he couldn't stop himself and went crashing into the floor. Dracten noticed this weak spot, and was focused enough to ignore the wind needle. He pounced on Dihnoro while he was still lying on the ground. Things didn't look good for Dihnoro in this fight, but he was not about to give up just yet. Trying to push the great brute off him was not an option, but still thinking about the rules gave him an idea. Use his weapons. He brought them towards him and Dracten, and forced them in between the two, pushing back Dracten with ease. As Dihnoro kept manipulateing the needles, the more they pushed the god back. His armoured body was the reason that the needles weren't going through the god, and Dihnoro thanked himself for remembering this fact. Eventually, Dracten was pinned to the floor by the many needles, helpless. " Do I win?" Dihnoro asked. " I suppose..." Dracten replied, disappointed in his loss. "The next clue, if you want it, is 'She rides the winds, but is not air, she lurks below, but still is fair.' There you go. Now I'm off." Dracten spoke, transforming into a speck of light and drifting upwards, into the night sky.

Two down, who knows how many to go....
